Well Walt Disney World is certainly going ahead with its new lands, but they really need to come up with a plan for Muppet Vision 3D like moving it to the Sunset Showcase Theatre after the Disney Villains show.

⁠​⁠@@dannygrau2983Disney’s never going to replace launch bay with muppet vision. They wouldn’t even do that for monstropolis. If they had done that they wouldn’t have to move muppets. The current theater is never full, so the sunset showcase theater is probably the best chance it has of survival, especially considering rockin roller coaster will be next door. I just don’t see Disney spending the money to move it anywhere but Disney+.

I mean, we get indy (which is going to have mystical creatures at least) and a somehow big encanto ride (they can't possibly mess that up) and a new caroussel. I prefer that to triceratops spin and Primeval Whirl. I genuinely think Americas is going to be nice. But yeah, all that «infinitive space» used for nothing is frustrating.

I'm getting a bit annoyed by all the closures in January 2025. I'm headed down for my first visit in nearly 10 years and now another thing is closing just before I arrive. Gran Fiesta Tour is just the most recent thing to close. Big Thunder Mountain, most of the Dinoland USA area and I'm waiting for a closure date for Hall of Presidents any day at this point. Plus Test Track has been closed for some time already. I guess I'll make the most of it but it kind of sucks. Big Thunder hurts the most as it was closed during my last visit which I think was 2016. What else will announce closures in the short span of a month before I go. I realize this is a slow time for them but I was just hoping to see some of this stuff again. Hall of Presidents was also closed during my last visit. Crossing my fingers it stays open.

They did that already! When Swing made it’s ridiculous re-emergence in the late ‘90’s/early 2000’s, Atlantic Dance was the HOT SPOT on the property. The club even managed to extend the life of the trend WAY LONGER than the trend itself!

This is such a bizarre point to fixate on, because they were using the correct English pronoun to address the person. “He” would also be a correct pronoun, but contextually they were referring to more than just the person who portrays Tally, and they used the indefinite pronoun to refer more broadly to the concept of ‘the performer,’ while using this performer in question as an example. It’s strange though, to get triggered over such a small thing. You’d have to be actively waiting for the pronouns to be used to even register it happened. Because we’ve been using “they” as a singular pronoun in English for hundreds of years prior to even Shakespeare’s time. If you’re trying to stop people from using “they” as a singular pronoun, it would actually be you who’s changing the parameters of the English language.
