Y’all are goals!!!! When I did my first half, my thoughts were im going regret that the paid for this, and the most I had run was 9 miles. What saved my ass was the mustard pockets in my bag, they take muscle cramps away immediately. I know it sounds weird and gross, but I promise you it was a game changer. My time was about 2:18 but above all else I was as just proud I finished: not only did y’all finish; you BOTH LITERALLY CRUSHED THE TIME! Sounds cheesy but once your done, it’s almost like the pain was worth it because I dislike running, I was just proud. YALL SHOULE SO BEYOND PROUD! Oh, and another thing that I did, which I’m sure y’all know this, is made a playlist on it on shuffle but I didn’t make one song specifically be the end. Music kept me going, mustard too, haha M&M should be the new essentials list for runners! Just my opinion tho. So happy and proud of both of you! Get some sleep and rest up for a few days, what an awesome vlog! Darik - LOVE YOUR SUPPORT with Jack in tow, y’all said it best, without D and Jacks support, (I know y’all would have finished) but that boost of someone cheering you on is night and day! I promise I’ll stop. But I’m actually glad you guys didn’t pick a friend, it’s a mental thing, and it’s IMO, it’s so hard to talk, and so important to breathe. Anyway, love y’all and CONGRATS!!!!!!

Great job you guys. Look up our local walking event, the Isle of Man parish walk! It’s 85 miles and you have to walk on the road, up hills, down dales within 24 hours. That is a killer 😂. I applaud anyone who gives any long distance running or walking a shot, you should be super proud and what an example to to set your girls. Even when you wavered, lil Ozzy was like no, you can’t quit. She is gonna be a force when she’s older, she got deep routed determination ❤️.
