Alysse and Anthony were married on May 5, 2023.
The wedding ceremony was held at St. Noel Church in Willoughby Hills, Ohio.
In between the reception and ceremony, the wedding party made stops at the North Chagrin Nature Center, the Orginial Swenson's Burger Restaurant in West Akron and Dockside on Portage Lakes.
The wedding reception was held at Gather at the Lakes in Akron, Ohio.
The couple met in 2016, when they both worked as Graduate Assistants in the Athletic Department at The University of Akron. While working at the James A. Rhodes Arena, better known as "The JAR", Anthony developed a little "crush" on Alysse, but never made a move. One late night at the office, the two were left alone and Alysse was quickly swept away by Anthony's thoughtful & caring personality. The rest was history.
Anthony and Alysse's relationship survived four years of long distance, including a six hour time difference. Through daily FaceTime dates and lots of flights to Spain, Connecticut & Alabama, their relationship grew into something that could survive just about anything that came their way. Anthony gathered all of Alysse's friends and both of their families to celebrate Alysse's birthday on May 29, 2022. In front of all of their loved ones, Anthony got down on one knee and asked Alysse to spend forever with him.
