My wife? Yea I'm lucky. I had some vapor lock issue. Need to reroute my fuel line farther away from my head. Carb needs sprayed out too. Probably some crap in it straight out of the box

Are you still missing engine tin? I saw that the one infront of the pulley was missing.

That was me haha. Meant to install it that a.m. , rushed out the garage, totally forgot. Paid the price. Silly mistake

Seems like vapor lock. Is your carb over jetted??

Shouldn't be. It's a 31. Nothing fancy.

@@punchysgarage oh I thought you had an aftermarket carburetor on that car.

@greasebellygarage well I did attempt a weber carb but it was over jetted. Took it off and just last week I put a single carb on it. Just a Chinese one off Amazon to get me by until I can get my Solex carb rebuilt. But vapor lock is my thought as well. I'm going to look into that today

@@punchysgarage oh okay gotcha keep us updated on your progress. I've had really good luck with Amazon carburetors and really bad luck with a couple of them too.

@greasebellygarage yea it was straight out of the box. Could have some residue in it. Could also be vapor issue. I'll pull the fuel pump and see
