I love to see appreciation for Brook, he is funny, he has style, he has one of the best backstories of the series, I love his fighting style and his voice actor is so good (all of them are, but their characters have proper expressions, while most of Brook's personality can only be represented through the voice). And I also loved to see some speculation on his past.

I really love this Dawn! Brook's really way way backstory haven't been highlighted so much. I personally will love it if he will get another arc dedicated solely to him like Sanji dealing with his biological family to be truly free from his past on wci. So what we DO know is that there is a prominent line of musicians from the same ocean of Ohara right? so maybe they had some juicy information about the secrets of the world and it would make sense that they tried to hide it in common songs and it would also make sense that this would provoke a huge censorship and even artirts persecution as part of this centurys long "history clense" which could explain why a group of all musicians would became pirates and go into the see

Brook is the best StrawHat, despite speaking almost entirely in jokes, he is the most genuine. I feel like he is highly under rated, it only hits harder now that he has never broken character as a dead man except for the first time that Luffy tells him Laboon is waiting. That is the only time I can find where Brook says he is alive, its otherwise uncut by him making a joke about being a skeleton but he makes an exception at that moment. Brook has the most heart despite there only being an empty ribcage, yohohoho.

This is honestly one of the best theories i’ve seen, and i have read and watched one piece for over five years. The music choice for the video was also 10/10. Subscribed! :) I’m too shy for making youtube videos, but i’ve been thinking about Nami’s true origin a lot and i do think we will see more of her backstory later in the story. Here’s what i’ve come up with so far: Nami is heavily linked to the theme of the sky Nami has unexplained weather sensing abilities, she was found on an island called Oykot - Tokyo backwards and on the Island there was a war between pirates and marines. She was smiling like most people with D’s does when being close to death. Nami was sent to Weatheria. Haredas the old guy is from the sky island of Birka Eneru is from Birka as well. It was said that if the Strawhats were to have df powers then Eneru's power would have gone to Nami Birka is originally from the moon and Eneru was going to go there with Nami. Many people believe that Nami will go to the moon with her friends by the end of the story and many people believe Raftel is there Birka is inspired by a Swedish settlement and Nami was said to be the equivalent of a real life Swedish person. That's like saying that Zoro is Japanese in real life and in the story he is linked to Wano.

Brook is one of my favorite characters in the series and I'm down for anything that can give him any more backstory. It just says something that he's been through all this stuff and he still spends all of his time making jokes and trying to be cheerful that makes me like him all the more.

I've used gifs of Brooks for quite a few years so I've probably been using some of yours 😂 But this theory is one of those theories that like... regardless of if it's canon or not, I want it to be canon lmao. The Rumbar Pirates have always been one of my favorite groups though. "Bringing a smile to every child" is such a lovely goal, and I can't wait for the inevitable Brook and Laboon reunion... and for the tears I'm sure we'll all cry that day.

This video does so much justice for Brooke that I think non-fans would appreciate it! I love the dive with relevancy here and not to mention finding more details about other characters to support your finding like Moria and especially Laffitte, ouuu end game battle match up there!!! Okay so here’s a question: maybe Brooke’s backstory will actually be expanded on towards the end (every strawhat has had a grand backstory minus him) and what you have found will come out, but here’s a way out there question; do you think Brooke’s end game is destroying the Red Line to get to Laboon or (what my head canon spouts out) do you think Brooke may have to fight an admiral like… Greenbull (which I’m beyond happy you brought up)! I’ve always liked to think he is Yorki just because of his green coat and bull Jolly Roger, but you just posed a betrayal that would give them reason to fight! Yorki killing off the crew and then living lavishly as the admiral does, that is cause for strife. Brooke took on a yonko and there’s that debate that the yonko are on par with the admirals. I have more on that but that’s the basic gist. Freezing death vs plant life (tree fever making him green like the leaves of a tree or even obtaining a plant devil fruit that is the source of his lack of eating); the parallels keeps coming!

Love to see another brook fan! and lately i've been feeling like something is missing in brooks arc... something like a worldwide arc-ending accomplishment like almost all of the strawhats have (pirate king, best swordsman, world map, all lies/predictions true, all blue, holy medine, lost history, ancient weapon pluton, end slavery) thats why i really love this theory and the one about binks sake's deeper meening and if you are right maybe Toroa has one to? What if Toroa is (or was) something like robins hometown but with musicians and binks sake is carried by generations and whoever acompanies the next joyboy will get to write the next history carring song and at the end brook gives the "wealth, fame, power, a man who had it all, the pirate king monkey D luffy..." speech and everyone sings together the first opening, we all cry, roll the credits. and by the way the slaved present day guy had the same hair color as brooks old capitan who came back... coincidence? maybe im just saying

And actually before this video i was only seeing 3 kind of twists that was kinda making sense to me (killed, kanjuro twist, vivi/momonosuke twist, the 2 lather involving the secret kingdom or something idk) about the lack of endgame stuff in brook and his almost untold and frankly kinda sketchy backstory because i hate to say it but did he just namedropped the whale that lives in the place where almost everybory have to pass and has a huge big straw hat simbol painted? he just needed to listen from crocus the same story he told the strawhats and asume the Rumba pirates were dead just like him! yohohoho... and don't make me started in the all how did he train being a rock star so he was hiding his power thing because my boy has being really trying post time skip ok? So anyway, thank you so much your video was really good and so helpfull! now im fully hoping this Toroa background gets confirmed specially because it involves the musician part wich is one of my favorite parts of brooks character! Ps: i do not know if i would resist a kanjuro twist with my good old skeleton budy and i think i don't want to know if i can... but maybe if they throw a really good joke about he being dead inside all along

This is so damn exciting actually. And while the leafhopper thing could totally be intentional, I could also see 'Torua' being from french for 'three' aka 'trois', which sounds random but it could be a music term relating to a beat, maybe it's an archipelago composed of Un Deux Trois and Quatre, or maybe the other islands could be from different languages? Another thought I had is that maybe everyone there is born a perfomer, so Laffite being a magician and tap dancer still fits, which could mean Buggy is also from there, which I admit is a big stretch, since he doesn't seem very talented... AND THE COWBOY THING? In any other story I'd write all of this off as a coincidence but we all know Oda is capable of this level of foreshadowing/world building coherence. This is truly what being a OP fan is all about 🤯

Amazing vid. Brook is my fave and I will literally cry a lil if we get more of his past 😂 The scar and the lack of flashback of a mugiwara (and vague detail info) as a kid give me hope, but who knows, franky parents come to mind as a sus info to be explored later as others mugis with the same unfinished exploration, (robins dad, war in the place where nami was born, zoro family, etc) some seem organic, without need to fill, some will be explored (zoro family, ussop dad, luffy mom) some idk.
