I would've also have preferred Yanguas and Pacquito. Yanguas is set to become the best right player in my opinion and with a top left side player could be a top pair. Don't get me wrong, Coki is amazing but he plays more like a right side player, it worked with Sanz because of him being a left handed player. Together, Coki and Yanguas won't be bad but they aren't achieving their maximum potential. They both are are more suited to the right or on the left with a left hander in my opinion.

Coki is better then Paquito and Stupa

I prefer Coki over Paquito on left side. Unfortunately Paquito starts to be too old to compete in the highest level against best opponents. Same decline ahead this year what we saw happen to Sanyo last year. Paquito will be aroumd top 20 in the rankings at the end of the year. Yanguas has a huge potential, but there is a real lack of good backhand players behind Tapia, Galan and Stupa to partner with him. Ability wise Garrido maybe the best of the rest, but Yanguas end the partnership last year. Then comes Coki. It is true that Coki makes more sense with a lefty so Sanz would have been a better fit. In the the pros calculate the ranking points very closely to get as good seed as possible so there wasn't really any sense for Yanguas to take someone lower in the rankings with higher ability to hit smashes and try to build something that Galan/Lebron were. More or less I think either Yanguas or Sanz are next in line to partner Galan if ChinGalan breaks. So important for Mike to keep as high ranking as possible.

Same, I always enjoyed watching them play together. Still, I hope for good things with this new pairing.

No weakness? Coki could (alongside Momo) very well be one of the most defensive left side players in the league. So I think that they can be decent but to get into the top you need someone to finish the points.

They are still far away from Tapia-Coello and Chingotto-Galan

Their problem is obvious - most tournaments are played on fast courts.
