Janette, I'm so sorry that Richard has been unwell as well as you going through all of the emotional stress. It's hard to watch a loved one suffer. I'm glad he's much better. He looks well. I'm so sorry you lost your Lucy😢 I know it's hard to go through the loss of one of our fur babies. It breaks my heart for y'all. Job changes are hard enough but on top of All of this, it has got to be stressful . I'm glad that you have support. Working three days a week will be great especially during these difficult times. I hope you can get some well deserved rest. Gardening will help I'm sure. I can't wait to see all you do this year. I have missed you. So glad you are back. I haven't been on since last Fall.😅 I have mulch bags too. They aren't ready yet but they do get heavy. I don't have help so I have learned to put soil for example in another container such as a 🪣 bucket. It's much lighter to transport but it takes a little longer. I had to do that with my potting soil yesterday. I've started planting my seeds this week. So I'm excited about that. Your😅 garden looks really good... especially for the beginning of March. We have freeze watches tonight and I think several nights will be close to freezing. It's been a cold winter. We got six inches of rain Thursday night. But today is beautiful. I'm about to get in the green house for a bit. Keeping y'all in my thoughts and prayers. X

I was so shocked to hear about Richard, but he actually looks great now! My father had a bypass done in 1980 (before stents) and then after 20 years, when the bypass clogged up, they opened the vessel that they had bypassed with a stent. His advice was to get a long warranty from the doctor! : ) (My father lived to 101!). So sorry to hear about little Lucy. It always seems that things happen all at once. So good to hear about the new job with a great schedule! Don't worry about your bags of compost right now, maybe just scoop a little out of the bag as needed. Take care!

I can tell just by looking that these traumatic months have left you exhausted and bereft too. Lucy cheered me up in her life also. I loved the way she was adamant not to go out in the garden unless it interested her. Your love for her shone through the vlogs. Your garden has sort of stood still in these last months.
