Yes, Syaikh Hamza Yusuf. I also followed that kind of belief: "Better Be Alone than in Bad Company". Before we decide a company is bad, we need to know what the company is doing. Is it permissible in Islam or simply populist activity? The good company is essentially those that remind us to Allah SWT - constantly. Other than that, such company feels like slippery slope. For me, to be surrounded with people who have Isamic open-mindedness but still within good corridors of Humanity, than I would love to stay. It's the Balance between success on Earth and the Hereafter (within Allah SWT Consent, not our greediness). And, at that point, you serve as good company, Syaykh. However, no perfection, unless we are in the state of seeking knowledge in Islam. To have a Sahabat like you, is a good one. We can constantly remind each other to Allah SWT. To remember that we are not destined to enter Heaven, unless we worship Allah SWT and declare that Muhammad SAW as His Messenger. Insya Allah. Biidznillah.

It’s a school of thought.. Just like the other 3. They’re not sects because we all share a lot of practices in general .. just that certain schools following the logic of certain imams want to do things a certain way instead of another. You can look it up online or here on KZbin.

Those who complain about his metaphor of being autistic, why not try to protect children in reality not only in words. For example, stop abortions of autistic children? Islam is the only religion that prohibited the killing of infants out of fear of poverty, and gave orphans, and males and females equal rights. So instead of political correctness and empty words, try to act to protect children from abusers in your society.
@SM-zv1du22 күн бұрын
There is no test to show a child is autistic while in the womb. So how is a child aborted because he is autistic? There's no way to know until the child is born and 2/3 years

Women in Islamic history … women spiritual etc is fine. Why can’t u discuss about women in Afghanistan and women in Pakistan etc…. Search for the KZbin video in which ‘Brother I am a medical doctor’ Zakir Naik threatens a girl who asked a genuine question regarding pedophilia going in Pakistan’s Madrasas. And now in UK Muslims started saying the moment a girl gets puberty, she is considered a woman and ready for marriage.

No. Since the industrial era, humans have formed lifestyle that now allows young people to enjoy childhood longer. Therefore less responsibilities, extended education, comfortable living= less likely to develop mental maturity. So can't apply that social, sexual and psychological dynamic today. Mentally kids had to mature much faster 1400 years ago
@yuckk.k23 күн бұрын
Women in Afghanistan have just suffered 30 + years of war and civil strife, as well as western occupation. Best not to follow western sources, and look for direct sources that claim women there are oppressed by Taliban regime. Western media lies, ALOT. It lied about Iraq and it still lies about Iran. Best to confirm thru direct source. Furthermore Pakistan is nowhere near the Islamic republic it should be. Full of jahiliya.

Autism is a disability. He throws the word around as if people have a choice in being autistic. Autism is also a spectrum. His definition is horrible and he should educate himself.

@PalestineWillnotgodown26 күн бұрын
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurological and developmental disorder that affects how people interact with others, communicate, learn, and behave. Autistic people may: find it hard to communicate and interact with other people. find it hard to understand how other people think or feel. If you earnestly follow the lecture, you would understand that the speaker was using the term as a description to paint the majority of the people these days as opposed to a diagnostic. A lot of us are having communication, learning and behavioral issues thanks to our modern day habits which destroy our neurological and developmental progress as a human being. So they are those who are "autistic" by choice. Allah knows best
@Almay2026 күн бұрын
@@PalestineWillnotgodown I get it, but people diagnosed with it do not have a choice in this. He has said multiple times in other videos too that kids who get screen time have autism. He just over simplifies everything. Unless you have a child who you did everything right with and turned out autistic, you wouldn’t understand. Allah created them different but they’re still humans, not a defective form or something how he implies. Autism is a spectrum. Some people are a bit awkward socially but others can be so severe they cannot take care of themselves nor speak. I get what he was trying to say, but horrible comparison.
@abdelrahmantaha978526 күн бұрын
@@Almay20It’s evident from the context that he’s referring to autistic-like behaviors that people develop due to modern lifestyle habits. It would be unnecessary for him to explain something so clearly implied!
@PalestineWillnotgodown25 күн бұрын
@@Almay20 He is right to a certain degree on that one tbh. Only thing missing right now is a proper study to prove his hypothesis. My own son is autistic by bad choices, mainly my own in raising him. He was born normal, healthy, brilliant. But I fed him junk food and introduced gadgets too early. It was impressive to see how a 2 y.o could ace Angry Bird and at 3 y.o could build amazing stuffs on Minecraft. Now he is 14 and I can see some "autistic" traits in him, all thanks to my own bad parenting. Let the parents of young children out there take heed and learn from my painful lesson. I am trying to reverse everything but it's an uphill battle. May Allah forgive my shortcomings
