They literally made her smarter and stronger. And yes she continues to be selfish and rude.

Emma is really the worst character and I do not understand why people like her or think she is a good character. Yes Jacob technically put everyone in danger but from an in universe look, no one expects there to be fucking werewolves in the woods and in reality nothing would have come of it if this were RL. Fooster is so consistently shit to Jacob and I never got why because he's a good guy but then suddenly had huge amounts of respect for Emma who went from instagram obsessed wannabe influencer who is so narcissistic she manages to make every situation and conversation about her to Lara Croft in less time than it takes to sneeze which I just found wildly unrealistic and a bit daft LOL. This is the first time Fooster and Fisk who I love have driven me nuts with their decisions haha. Fisk judged Dylan for his decision to leave someone behind when Fisk consistently chooses to leave the other characters behind further proving that point by suggesting "they leave Dylan behind" lmao. Really enjoyed watching this series guys!

The family is trying to help but once she heard her granddaughter was killed the grief and anger made her act like she wanted the counselors dead. And Ryan is acting weird because he likes Chris and doesn't want a good human punished for actions he can't control based on the stories of a complete stranger. I think you guys are feeling like the character are acting strange because you aren't viewing it through their eyes. You as a player have more knowledge of the overall story than the characters.

I cant stop laughinggggg Edit: decided to do the good thing and tell you how long shock can last, shock can last for 6 weeks or more, and Dylan not feeling anything about the loss of his hand, totally fine, I once cut a HUGE line through my eyebrow and I felt no pain and was more concerned how I looked because I couldnt open my right eye, there was so much blood on the right half my face, I might've done a Saw device twice, this was when I was like 10 btw. So Dylan not caring about his hand, fair. Shock can last 6 weeks, him having lost his hand for about 8 hours, fine. Your welcome! 😃

The major plot points have multiple clues so Harum Scarum, the fire, and The Hag of Hackett's Quarry, are key to the whole story. The character development points are more subtle and can be missed if you don't pay notice/attention to the clues. The fortune teller is played by Grace Zabriskie who played Laura Palmer in Twin Peaks and was in several movies. She is a great actor.

Going into shock can be brief and pass quickly with minimal change or it could last for hours or days, it can make people unresponsive to stimuli for long periods of time or if it is severe enough, you can literally shut down and your body just stops functioning, it shuts down and you just pass. Shock has a very wide scope of time and effects. Some people become psychologically broken if it's severe enough. Even if they come out of shock they could potentially never be the same. It's a scary ass side effect from trauma that you just can't mentally or physically handle. It's genuinely terrifying.
