I know that it is a lot of work and it can seem overwhelming. Stop and enjoy the process. This time will never come again. Build memories by building with your son, he will remember it. Take it one day at a time and instead of looking at all you need to do look at all you have been able to accomplish and be thankful. So many people would like to be doing what you are doing now. Count your blessings instead of your list. You can do this!

You really are working very hard and making great progress. I am surprised how much progress you make from one video to the next. I hope you maintain a whiteboard to list all the tasks. It feels very good to check them off as completed. If you are at all like me I am constantly thinking through the tasks while working. It is very important to write down those things you must remember to do and another list for items needed to purchase. It frees up head space taking away some of the feeling of being overwhelmed. Two suggestions: purchase sound proofing insulation for the best results in blocking sound. Next, consider putting in windows in the bathroom. One idea I had was to put them at the top of the carriage doors as garage doors use. This will let light in without compromising privacy. Keep us the good work.

After living with a spiral staircase for over twenty years, please consider leaving space in your design for a traditional staircase, if needed later on.. Although they are beautiful, we found that they were difficult when moving furniture, could be dangerous with little people around, and hard to navigate for older members of the family. You need to have more confidence in yourself! You are doing something that only a few would attempt to do! What you are doing and learning is going to make you a better person, a more knowledgeable person and you should look at your accomplishments everyday and say , "I built that"! Don't worry about what others say or may think. You can do this so keep going! Ok, stepping off my soap box!
