HOKA shoes have a rocker bottom sole which is ideal for certain types of feet. ALWAYS always ensure you select the correct type of running shoe based on your foot type (neutral, supination, pronation...).

I feel like runners high is more common in sprinting and track running, because ur going so fast you get into that zone. But long distance is just a constant chug along so there isn’t as much burst to it. But who knows I could be wrong, maybe long distance runners get it just as often.

It is related to the endorphins released after intense or lengthy exercise. Definitely not more common after short distances.

I trained and ran a ton of half marathons and 5k/10k races and I got a runners high only once during a 7 mile training run-it felt like I was on a cloud and could have ran all day long. Sadly, I never got that high ever again 😞🤪
