Another great vid Lewis! shock promotions are the best - think you'll be alright next year in League 1especially if you can keep Nicholson and he can continue to perform! Couple of questions, as i'm interested in starting a new save similar to this. The matches you don't show on videos, you simulate them or you play them all?. With the players from the youth intake that you sent to the under 18, yo take control of u-18 matches so you make them play as starters?. Goodness me, Preston down to L2. Sharpest decline I've seen in the save so far. I'll say this, bit surprised by Mawson, he looked a bit suspect to me initially, but its nice to see his growth is causing him to shatter that initial image. Still doesn't look like much, but hey, he's producing. Pleased to see Bankole going up the ranks, playing about where I would consider him as a backup DM, I think you have the right of it to slowly transition him in when you can. You may be a bit harsh on Hvonikis but it is starting to look like VNL/L2 is his level, which is a shame, but that's just how the save goes. Once again I love the random double nationalities that come up in the English youth, and once again I'm sad that the fun ones are relatively poor. I mean, come on when do you see an Estonian come up? Never mind the fact we had Iran, DR Congo and Cyprus. At least we get Kelvin flying the Zimbabwe flag! To the intake itself: Rutter is not bad, that finishing will do him decent when combined with the composure, feels like a decent gamble into a super-sub. Kyriakou definitely needs some babying to get his determination up, basically a lotto ticket, so its no harm no foul signing him. Matondo doesn't have enough of the tools to make him worth it, so I get letting him go. Same with O'Donnell, he could maybe get to B2B Midfield, but thats a big maybe. Baird is steady, with his height I see him as a decent CB prospect, probably good backup for the foreseeable future at least. I don't mind Lumsden, though I am questioning whether he has too much in the tank as a wing-back, probably could benefit with some Winger training so that he can be a bit more of a versatile tool up and down the pitch and to compensate for his lack of aerial presence. Flitcroft is much like Lumsden, a winger more that a right back or center back, got to really get those mentals up, but a fun prospect, if also potentially frustrating. Wilson looks like a huge stud! No complaints with what I see, and kinda makes it more easy to put Flitcroft/Lumsden on wing training. Love Mutasa, you're right about the work-rate but the versatility is something that is needed and he has good bones to allow you to focus time on his mentals and technicals. Kavanagh with a very nice middle across the board stat block, which is really nice. Some mild deficiencies in the physicals and a few mentals (Concentration, Anticipation, Bravery) but a very nice topping to a very nice intake. Top 5. 1. Mutasa 2. Kavanagh 3. Wilson 4. Baird 5. Flitcroft Great job on the promotion, its always hard to tell how the L1/L2 draw is. I've seen a few saves where once they make it out of the muck of VNL they rocket to Championship. But with the added depth and the rise of Mawson, Bankole, and Boshell, you might see things keep flying! Now to just work on that financial state of affairs.
