Another idea for drilling holes in tiles is a think plastic chopping board that has all the different holes preset and you clamp the tile to it. That board you save to take to other jobs. Like drains in floors and showers/taps & so on.

It is exciting to know that the bathroom reno is so close to being done! The tile looks great and the ceiling is interesting. I have not seen the application done befor. And I have to agree I do not like popcorn ceilings!! Love to see the three boys out playing while they still can. I had 5 projects going on at the same time once! It is so overwhelming! I used to love doing projects, but after those 5 at the same time ruined it for me. We have a house built in the early 70's. We had an attic fire 2 years ago. They had to tear out all the ceilings, walls and floors with the exception of 2 rooms that were built later. There was asbestos in the drywall tape. The water from what the firemen had to do caused damage to all 4 levels in our house. All new flooring. Is there a chance there would be asbestos in your house?

Here you must vent to the outside. When I had new insulation put in the attic, they fixed mine for me so they could put in the insulation. They were so nice and helpful. You dont see that often anymore

Coming together really really really really nice. Wish you lived in Australia. I have heaps of work for you. I want my Broadbeach property re done. We use it as a get away house but children with grand kids use it more than us in the school holidays. I did have it rented out but that was a nightmare with the real estate saying it was being looked after, only to find out no inspections were done at all. Records showed they lied not just on ours but on a lot of properties. Yet they still charged.
