I drove from New Orleans to San Antonio during Christmas week and stayed overnight in Baytown. Next day I stopped at Buc-ees in Katy on my way to San Antonio. Houston is such a large, busy city. Plus that area has all the offshore oil rigs. I have been praying for the whole area. + May the good Lord protect and preserve everyone and everything along the Gulf coast of Texas and Louisiana and on land in Texas. I pray the hurricane will weaken to a common storm. I ask this through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.+

Stay safe Chef. I know I don’t need to tell you, but don’t stand under oak trees after a hurricane. They have shallow root system and are prone to fall over. A young man here in northeast Florida was killed after going outside to check on his yard after a hurricane and an oak tree fell over on him. Let the ground dry up.
