as a fellow creative, I have always believed that the hardest thing about creating something is deciding when to be done. your channel is a curation of raw and real snapshots of your life and tells you and your family's story. i'll miss your videos for sure! but i'm proud of you for stopping, taking a step back to look at your channel and saying "yeah. i'm done." it shows a lot of emotional maturity to recognize the sense of relief you felt amongst the panic when you thought your channel was gone, and i don't think any of us could blame you for wanting to be physically, mentally, and emotionally present with your husband and your family. may God bless you and your family, and I look forward to seeing you on Instagram!

Yes this is exactly how I've been feeling in my own pursuits. Realizing how drained it's made me and how I'm not enjoying it anymore. It's so hard to finally admit it to yourself that you're done. EVERYONE feels this way. I understand KZbin is time-consuming and a full time job but whether you work on YT, or an outside job or anything else, IF you have to work for a living, you have this stress, with kids and family and all those responsibilities. If you have the option and you're financially independent, that's great. But family life is just busy.

This is exactly how I feel right now, going through school. It's been so drawn out and I've wondered if I should just stop. But I keep pushing through anyway, because it's so close now. But I've recognized how much is affecting everyone else in my life and have been trying to make changes as much as I can, just looking forward to when school is over. I’m a mom of two little girls and just feeding them healthy meals, spending quality time with them, taking care of their general needs, keeping a clean home, loving my husband, errands, ect. is very energy consuming. So the fact that you’ve been doing this for SO long while doing all of the other things you do is very impressive. You’re ministry has definitely helped me personally. Thank you for that. Everyone feels this way about work, I'm away 9 hours a day to work at a hospital, but unfortunately some of us don't have the liberty to quit our jobs because our homes survive of of it. We just have to make the most of the time we get after hours (even when we're tired) with our loved ones and running our home. Anyways, all the best Sarah.

Not everyone feels this way though. A lot of people leave jobs because they’re unhappy in them. My husband took a HUGE paycut because he has to leave one normal job for another because he was miserable in the previous. It’s incredibly healthy to know when to walk away from one opportunity to pursue another, even if the next hasn’t presented itself. There’s always another job but there’s only one you.

Been refusing for the longest to just keep my Facebook which I only used like twice a month or sometimes every 2 months due to 3 years ago deciding it was time to cut social media out of my life for the sake of me growing prearing for my first baby and having time to complete my masters which I did with a 4.0 gpa, gave birth at a birth center, read about 3 books per months now, and I am constantly growing spiritually by attending Bible study and raising our 10 months baby and being present in her life and my husband’s life as a stay at home mommy. ❤️Love you guys and I am so so proud. I went through a similar situation. I worked 5 different jobs this year. For a while I was working 4 at once. I’m a mama to a 2.5 year old girl and now have a 1 month old girl too. God pushed me over the summer to quit all my jobs and so I did and I’m so glad I did because mothering these 2 is now more than enough for me to be busy with. 😅

I had these feelings before, I’m creative worker as well (freelance photographer), but I realized that balance is everything.. after finding that balance my relationship with work became so much better, allowing me to focus on other things that are as important and enjoyable. I also enjoy what I do more since I don’t stress about it as much and have time to recharge while I do something else. But you do whatever serves you and your family ❤️ if this feels right, it is right!

I took a fast off Instagram back in Easter this year. The Lord put it on my heart and when I returned to it, something had changed. It took till October this year for me to permanently delete it and that was hard. But I don’t regret it for a second. I can concentrate on work wayyy more, I feel more connected to those around me- just like you said! I hadn’t realised just how much it had become an addiction and time waster for me. It's not mean. It's necessary. Women were sold the false lies of either 1) you can "do it all" or 2) career and worldly things will fulfill you in ways only family, partnership, and kids can. Of course there are outliers, but for the vast majority there has been a generation of successful career women that wake up at 40 with no partner and no kids and realize the rat race of the corporate world wasn't the magic solution to fulfillment and happiness.

As a long time follower, since the days when Ivy was a baby, thanks for all the content. I feel like I have grown into being a mom with you as I found you when pregnant with my first and have loved having a Christian mom to look up to who puts her kids and natural living and being minimal when it’s beneficial... all of those values that I needed to see modeled to be encouraged in them. I would like to submit for your consideration the idea of a podcast because my favourite content of yours is when you just tell us about your life. About why you make the decisions you do, mom routines and wife talks, favourite skin care, Bible study routines, what God is telling your heart, what your favourite list of baby gear is, all that kind of stuff. Just Christian mom lifestyle stuff. It is always so encouraging to me and an audio only format would be so convenient for me to listen to and not worry that I’m missing the visual side. But I do wonder if maybe setting healthier boundaries from the get-go would’ve helped. You don’t have to post 3 videos a week. You can take breaks. You can let other people take care of various aspects of your life. Creating margin is massive with any social media platform and simply moving from YT to IG won’t solve the mindset/boundary issues there. Hoping this change promotes more rest in your life rather than a simple shifting of ambitions.

Oooh tik tok! So much less pressure. I feel it though. I think the KZbin addiction was to get us to realize the beauty in the little things and sense of community. That can be found elsewhere. I do feel like this was a lesson! I’ve also struggled and made so many issues in my life trying to make content. Never as successful but it’s been eye opening lately. I started yt when I was a teen and now still do from time to time but I think I had my friend pop back in from that time to bring closure to that need.

I hate the “blaming” KZbin. Many people live busy lives and are able to do things. I find it hard to believe that KZbin was the reason you couldn’t see anyone. You will always be busy. You even said it yourself. You want to build a brand. That will be no easier than KZbin. Sometimes you have to make time.

Ahh I have been so blessed by your videos, so so blessed! And so inspired by you, that when my friend said that when I looked like you because I bought the same azaria bag after watching your video I was so happy haha! But really, thank you for being such a blessing. Indeed this channel has been a ministry for you and Kieran as well, and we thank you both for that. But God is good, He knows us best, and He also has the best plans for us. The thing about listening and obeying God is that it can be both scary and exciting at the same time because He literally takes us one step at a time, but His timing is perfect. He is so so good and I’m most excited about seeing where God Will take you both and how He will continue to hone you both to be more like Christ. ❤️
