Hope this season goes well for you all. Looking forward to getting to Symphony Hall up here to see the BSO. This society could use some music... new music.. classical music... classic music. Help get us back thinking soon.

Mr Brey, if you see this, have you ever/would you ever do a KZbin live chat/AMA? I would love to hear you talk about a favorite movement from the symphonic repertoire featuring the celli that you love to lead the section in. For me it would be the Mahler 4 slow movement, but I want it to be a favorite of yours.

Looks like Carter is sailing somewhere in Holland, concerning the surroundings. Of course it is the US....

Carter Brey literally inspired me to take Cello lessons when I retired, and he doesn't even know it. I always regretted never learning how to play an instrument. I finally did that when I was almost 70. We are long time subscribers and whenever we attended a concert, I gravitated to Carters Cello section. PS: Based on the background, I believe that Carter's boat was sailing out of City Island, NY where in my younger days I would often walk it's length. IW

Let's hear a concert once in a while, huh? I'm tired of seeing empty concert halls.

There are plenty of live concerts out there but it's not everyday we get to hear Carter speak, albeit briefly, about listening.

@@LV-kw3nq yeah ok. I'm just tired of the propaganda. Entire empty hall. It's b.s.
