Your family makes gardening look so easy. I always planted a vegetable garden with my kids. They loved getting their little hands dirty, as do I! My 2 girls were so fortunate to attend an agriculture elementary school. The lower grades helped with planting and harvesting. At harvest time the moms got involved and made a huge batch of vegetable soup for lunch. My grandma was in a nursing home in a small town in Minnesota. The employees brought their small children to the home for daycare. Grandma helped the kids to plant vegetables and then cook the harvest. What a wonderful experience for kids.

Oh my, we started our tomatoes in February! LoL Matt is planting the tomatoes in a very unique way. It's similar to what we do in the tropical country of the Philippines. We just sprinkle the seeds on a seed bed. Once they are big enough to plant, we just pull them out/uproot them from the seedbed and direct plant them on the ground. No trays needed.
