I am thrilled that you are taking time to rest and relax with each other. The house will still need fixing tomorrow but resting and taking time as a couple is so important. As a person of mix blood and heritage, I can empathize with you with people looking at you because you are a mix family as we had that all our lifes. I learnt to look back at them until they averted their eyes and then as they got to know us more they turned to be really wonderful neighbours. Sharon is right, you just need to give them a chance to get to know you. Take care of the family and yourself. I just want to say that my younger brother, a long time ago did the different sox thing and it became a statement for him and his friends.

Wow this must be a bit hard living with your home not fully completed. Tommy is doing a good job renovating by himself and going to work. Thumbs up to you guys, doing it with young children is not easy too.
