It’s realllly interesting learning about bees! Keep educating us! Myself having Lyme and coinfections (and several other major illnesses,) I missed the opportunity to start Bee Venom Therapy in Colorado and need to learn a lot about bees and how BVT works before spring arrives. Seems like a win-win-win-win to educate us on bees and grow both businesses and help people.

My two girls are now 6 and 8 and are growing too quickly. I miss them being little and wanting to just smile every day. Recently we all had Covid and we made it through but sadly my youngest got mis-c and then from having mis-c and she contracted secondary HLH which is an autoimmune issue. Luckily it’s all reversible although there blood pressure was up and down and it caused her to have two seizures and then from that she was intubated for a day for tests and a bone marrow puncture and a spinal tap. After 13 days of staying at UC Davis we got to go home and she’s been on many many medications but she is slowly being weaned off them. Steroids and anakinra is an immune suppressant so no school for her (homeschooling only). With all this going on my husband had a thought of what if something were to happen to our baby girl? We never want our kids to be alone. I grew up alone. I have my mom and dad that’s it and my dad died while I was 7 mo this pregnant with my first and it’s rough to be alone and know that if things were to happen and I lost my husband (before having kids) that I would only have my mom and we aren’t that close she is very let’s just say mean and no supportive at all. So we decided another baby is in order. 3 sounds like too much but thinking of the future of our kids and being adults and always knowing they can count on their siblings is what makes it important to have a bigger family. Seeing our baby girls seize in front of us and knowing all we can do is sit and wait and watch is the worst feeling we’ve ever had. It’s stressful daily specially because we were doing so well getting of her meds and then we get news her liver enzymes are going up and have no idea why. Could be a virus or another huge issue. Blood tests will tell us. I just feel overwhelmed, sad, and want to sleep all day and let life just move on without me. It’s hard to face life and move on facing each challenge head on. Just remember to enjoy each and every minute with azalea I know you two already do and watching you makes me want to do so many things. I want to be free but husbands job and my youngest’ s sickness and my middle one feeling left out (trying to make sure she’s included but it’s hard not to focus on the biggest issue which is our youngests sickness) just don’t let these little times speed by. The days I sit around and am stuck in my rut I just resent myself for not doing more. I have bought so many things for me to do but it’s all still packed up sitting collecting dust as is my energy level. How do you let things go? How do you enjoy life even if it feels like things are just going the wrong direction and feeling hopeless? Wow that comment took a turn of venting. I am not a person who will express my feelings I keep them to myself because I know if I express my worry the. That puts worry on others and I’d rather just take it all with me and hold on to it and not stress others out. Sorry it all came out on that’s not what this was meant to be about it was meant to be about how fast kids grow up and how fast time goes by and remembering not to take things for granted. With.love.forever.and.aday!♥️♥️

Isn’t it fun to measure time in inches! I remember the over stairway closet in kitchen that had important hash marks and dates. We had chalk board by kitchen table where Dad would play with us making a simple scribble we could draw into images we recognized. Hidden Pictures were treasured fun too.

Oh loved the bee update... so cool. Will check it out! There aren't any bees down here in the desert, none that I've seen anyway. Just a Bunch of pesky flies. And Jubi, Don't you just love watching the Paraglider's… My heart skipped a beat when I saw it lol Arches park is on my list of places to fly over ... can't wait!! I wanted to raise bees so much that I bought some books, went for a tour of a couple of friend’s apiarys. Even got to hold a couple of bees. But unfortunately I got stung buy a wasp and ended up in the ER. Guess I’m allergic. Md said I shouldn’t raise bees because I could develop a severe allergy to them. I was so disappointed. But I enjoy all your bee info. Thanks.

Really enjoyed this video! So interesting learning and watching the bee 🐝 inspections. When we lived in a traditional sticks and bricks house I (Carrie) had chickens and would also do mite inspections as they are really bothersome and destructive to the chickens if left untreated.
