I am super impressed by Slegers' work so far. It's incredible how different and confident the team now looks. For some reason, I just knew we were going to score eventually no matter how late. I have undretood that Renee has given more freedom to players, and listens to their ideas too. Still having structure in the game of course. And able to change tactics when needed. She has got the locker room back

Based on the last few press conferences, she seems on the fence about taking the role fulltime. I think she prefers the assistant role, which allows her a little more time for her 3 year old.

As expected juventus ditched the 1 v 1 marking and opted to cut out passing lanes and minimize arsenal movement. It was a bit hard because breaking a 5-3-2 low block maybe needs you to be quicker and more technical in tight spaces 😂 using one 6 and bringing in more attackers like sort of a 4-1-4-1 is probably what got arsenal over the line an ugly lucky win maybe but the game is the game ❤

yeah she coached a 2-0 but the midblock was nasty and this game either demanded wide cams on both flanks to carve open the settled block with passing or ball striking to win the game or a big striker like katoto to score a header. renee coached a 2-0 it was variance that kept the shots from going in. her changing the cf was good, the russo dropping deep gimmick wasnt working

Arsenal we’re by far the better team but they are fortunate that the Juve coach replaced the right fullback as she cost them the game. She was a deer in the headlights marking Hurtig.
