We assess the UNDERWATER DEBRIS FIELD of the Dale Hollow Lake HOUSEBOAT FIRE for salvage group

As most of you around Dale Hollow Lake know, a houseboat caught fire in the Willow Grove area this past week and was a total loss. Fortunately, there was no loss of life in the incident.
Chris and I did an underwater assessment of the debris field surrounding the fire for the salvage group that will likely be tasked with the eventual cleanup
In addition, we are releasing our underwater survey to show how dangerous this area is. Boaters and spectators should avoid the area due to the unseen hazards of twisted debris around the area that is dangerously close to the surface and remains very unstable.

Glad no one was hurt. This is one of our favorite spots. So very many memories with our now grown kids here. We did lots of snorkeling all around this area. Thanks for the Vid and all you do!

Yes it will. I hope the lake authorities get busy as well. This scene should have been taped off immediately and protective buoys placed out in the water... there is some dangerous, tangled only a few feet below the surface.

So sad I remember one burnt down around the cut through at troopers island when I was a kid you could see the remnants of the tragedy for years. Praying for the family and glad no one was hurt

No, just an intense fire. So sad.

@@donnytyler-eb1ty yeah all that people see is the hull along the shore, but there is an incredible amount of debris underwater. It’s a dangerous and environmentally-damaging situation in its current state.
