i love how this game transitioned from silly bug game to backyard dark souls with its enemies. that boss entrance for the infected broodmother was genuinely the most terrifying of them all. like, by the time you've fought it you would have fought a bunch of other bosses so you already expect it to come from the ceiling, except this boss room has no entrances besides the one you came through, and then the boss is was just *there* the whole time.

Not gonna lie if they knew how to parry it they would’ve beaten it and if they got the charm two heal They would’ve got all their health back and also the best weapon to use and armor is the toenail scimitar mint path and the assassins armor

Try a Minty Toenail Scimitar, about 30 Beefy Green Machines, Lvl 7 Ladybug Armor, And a Fire Ant Shield, and MAYBE you stand a chance. Try to get the Perfect Blocks in as well.

They really get you with this boss. You start off with “wow, this boss is super easy, weaker than like the wasp queen” but it’s such a perfect trick to let your guard down for the REAL boss…

1. Rough reload GREATLY reduces damage when you shoot, wait until the debuff is over. 2. Peep.r the infected broodmother to find what is useful. 3. Use only the scythe or the clubs. Choose the mutation for either. 4. Equip reliable friend. Reviving is theoretical infinite health and making it easier to do so is great. 5. If you really can't beat the brood mother no matter what you do. Most of It's attacks are just modified versions of existing spider attacks. Go practice parries on them.

i suggest waiting for the end of the rough reload effect ostart shooting cause thats why you werent doing damage also it seems like you can cheese them with that infected chunk like at 16:42 but you dont plan on cheesing it try corporate kickback and 1 handed fresh weapons with the fungal or shield trinket and fresh trinket is best for phase 1 also the infected broodmother does stabbing damage im pretty sure so maybe you should try spicy safety

The infected broodmother in her second phase gives you debuffs of less healing and less atk dmg by x3 in her last phase it gives debuff of x8 -x15 also her exploding infected chunks heals it by a bit .

the stacks don't stop at 15 On my first fight with the infected Broodmother I had the reduced healing debuff with a stack of 53 at the end of the entire fight

@@bounty8400 The reduced healing effect stacks indefinitely and is 2% reduction per effect. Not sure if it's cumulative or multiplicative, but if it's cumulative then 50 is enough to make healing items straight up not work anymore.

I don't know for what specific stuff to bring, but I know explosive damage heals it and it is immune (or at least resistant) to poison, so keep that in mind

Venom build helped me beat my first infected broodmother. So, you will need Level 9 sleek mask of yhe mother demon, termite chestplate, and widow shoes. Weapons you will need Level 9 widow dagger (might or mint for more damage) and fire ant shield. Mutations are assassin, parry master, coup le grass, Trapper peep.r, and corporate kickback. Corporate kickback is most helpful because when you block, sometimes it will heal when you attack, so don't use a club. Also accessible is thors pendent.

If you have 4 players all with maxed out thief skill, it should take 6-9 kills to drop the boss trinket. It's power is to make all other summons explode. So that's Mom Gene's spiders. MANT. Wasps.

If there is a hole there is a goll. Also use the fungle charm to make this fight a lot easier. The game doesn’t tell you this but spicy safety gives explosive resistance.

You should use the fist build but NO EXPLOSIVE PUNCHES as it’s immune to explosions,(or at least resistant) use Lil Fist, 3 weapon mutations and corporate kickback, use the fire ant shield and armor too

you also have to remember with the new update, the crossbows have a recharge time to get full damage out of them, if you want max damage out of a crossbow, wait just a second more after it reloads

There's a trinket that you can get from her but you need rascal roge or the gum trinkets wich you need boom arrows, rascals roge you need small statues that are found in the main labs the one is a aphid on a table,the next is over in haze with is a the black thing with the long snoze and the last one I can Rember is a koi statue some where along the wall in the water of the pond lab with the diving bell spider,but there are seven statues.

Hey blitz! Great video here. a couple of tips, you don't need mithraditism, she does venom damage and not poison, so you can get an extra mutation in there. Second tip, you're shooting the crossbow too fast. There's a new system called "rough reload" which will make crossbow spamming very ineffective. You'll see a little dial pop up in the bottom left when you shoot. Wait for it to go away before you shoot, you'll do more damage. Final tip, explosions HEAL her. Also, you should have peeped her to see weaknesses hahaha

Im pretty sure methridatism is useless on this boss. You want fresh weapons it even has bleed resistance. I think maybe someone to face tank while someone shoots it. With either the fresh staff or fresh arrows. Idk i think just a testing episode is in order.
