Here's a suggestion. Instead of throwing out the bag dura armor grind them in an Indy grinder. Granted you only get a portion of the resources back but if you're crafting like 200 helmets and most of em are bad dura then it's safe to say you'd be getting enough resources to keep making more armor for a bit without having to go out and harvest
