I don't know why but I'm sure this series is the one prepared me for body horror stuffs very early on. I remembered really well Vilgax's "corpse" in the first ben 10K episode, the effects of the Corrodium on the security guard, and most of the transformations (especially Ripjaw). I realized this when I introduced the show again to some of my cousins, they were pretty terrified and was like: "bro how did you enjoy this kind of stuff as a child". Maybe the animation is just too good that I kinda forgot some scenes were supposed to be disturbing 🤣

My headcanon says the Omnitrix intentionally fcks up Ben's transformation, like on the burning apartment, the Omnitrix turned him into Heatblast which is not really who you would choose in a "fiery" situation, but I guess the Omnitrix does it so Ben can learn to adapt, think and prove that he's a worthy Tennyson to wield it (iykyk)

Actually Heatblast is the perfect alien for the burning apartment as he can absorb fire as well. Though I don't think Ben was aware of this ability of Heatblast at that point.

I just realised that the reason Ben went Canonbolt in that tick episode is because the tick destroyed the homeworld of Canonbolts species, so the watch automatically gave him the transformation to preserve the gene pool. As for Wildvine, I'm guessing that was situational. The monsters were explained and Upchuck, Ditto and Eyeguy are probably because that alien lady Max dated gave Ben extra aliens.

I don't know if anyone had commented this yet but the Omnitrix Ben has is a prototype so it will make a mistake every now and then. It does back up the theory that the timeout feature activates because Ben slams the dial way too hard and giving him the wrong alien. The watch has AI but the prototype isn't really refined to the likes of the Recalibrated Omnitrix in Alien Force. (Sorry for the yap session, big fan of Ben 10)
