Neat little fact, thanks to the line "courage, you know i cant hear you sithout my glasses" a popular yheory is that muriel is deaf, or close to it. That'd be why she rarely reacts to danger unless its directly in front of her and why courage communicates mostly through charades.

So a fact about this season - the original Eustace actor, Lionel Wilson, was replaced mid season (the mona lisa episode) cause he was ill, with Arthur Anderson. While some of Wilson's dialogue, screams, grunts, laughs, and other recordings would be reused, you can kinda tell the voices are different

Yeah, Tulip’s Worm was Wilson’s last episode while So in Louvre Are We Two was Anderson’s first episode. Wilson himself died five months after the show wrapped.

@@GigglyFunGirl03 Eustace Bagge's second voice actor Arthur Anderson died on April 9, 2016, many years after the original show ended. Although this raises the question of why Arthur Anderson didn't come back to voice Eustace in "The Fog of Courage" 2014 special that was produced during his lifespan and was still acting in the industry, even during 2014. Eustace's voice actor is replaced by Wallace Shawn in "The Fog of Courage" for reasons that are still unknown, even 10 years later.

Yeah it's pretty telling how telling how despite Arthur Anderson replacing Lionel Wilson as Eustace for the remainder of the show's original run, many archival recordings of Lionel Wilson's vocal sounds of grunts, laughs, screams, and catchphrases are still used even during the Arthur Anderson episodes.
