We Blew Up The Hot Rod Ford :(

An ignoble end for our Ford LGT125 project when they 12hp Kohler engine came apart in a very dramatic fashion. Dad takes the time to teach the boys some engine forensics as well as a life lesson- how much can you trust work you didn’t do yourself?

Kohler engines are tough, but they don't like high rpm's, so maybe find an engine that is better suited for what you want to do with it. You learn more from set backs than success, keep wrenching and you will get there.

I’ll see if we can come off some of the horizontal shaft v twins we have laying around at work. I know there’s some Vanguards and Hondas not being used.
