I'm enjoying watching you two begin your traveling especially since my husband and I have slowed down camping in our older years. We started camping over 30 years ago and have so enjoyed seeing so many beautiful sites in the U.S. Back then there weren't so many RV Resorts as you have today. Probably would not have used them as they are pricey, but you pay for the amenities. I was more interested in being on water, lake, stream, river, even beach. ((husband big fisherman). Every state has great state parks that are well maintained, but we ALWAYS loved the Corps of Engineers parks. The sites are spacious and private and usually concrete, electric and water at every site and great bathrooms. Usually sites are overlooking beautiful lakes. And if you buy a yearly national park pass, camping in any national park or forest costs next to nothing. And the pass allows you discounted entrance to all national sites and monuments. Hope this tip helps. Love your new channel (and your cooking channel too). Happy camping 🏕️

To get rid of flies take a jar with a lid and put five holes in the lid just big enough for a fly to get through. In the jar put a hot dog broken up and pancake syrup about an inch or so in the jar. Close up the jar and the flies will get in and are confused and won't be able to get out. We tried this on our last RV trip and had four jars sitting out and they were full.

Now you're camping! 😍 I love this Harvest Hosting! What a great concept, camping out on farms and museums right in the middle of nature!😘 Brian knew what he was doing when he bought the generator, a very smart idea! He was probably thinking at first about power outages caused from thunderstorms while at the RV parks. But now that you're boondocking, we can see how smart he is to be thinking of this new experience! 👍 Southern Grace Farms was so beautiful and the pecan syrup was a great bonus! 😚 Like Georgia, Texas has wonderful pecans and peaches too!🍑 Tallahassee Automobile Museum was another amazing place! Nature is a wonderful thing! ☺️ If you ever get fruit flies inside your camper, there's a simple concoction you can make up and leave on your counter. Just take a tablespoon of sugar or honey and add 2 tablespoons of warm water to dissolve it. Add a tablespoon of vinegar and a few drops of Dawn and mix it together. You don't need a special gadget, a bowl will hold it just fine. When you see the fruit flies in the bottom of the bowl, just dispose of them and make the concoction again if you still have any fruit flies. Back to camping! You are really getting a taste of roughing it! But you are well equipped to handle any adventure! With the solar panel and generator, you can camp anywhere!😁 You named this channel so appropriately, chasing sunsets is truly what you're doing! 🤗 You don't know how many people are living vicariously through you! 🤩 We love following along on this amazing adventure and soaking up all the beautiful things! ❣️ Can't wait for the next edition of this incredible travel, you are living our dream!😋 Thanks for sharing your wonderful life with us! 🥰

“REAL CAMPING”. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 In a luxury 5th wheel. Real camping - tent, sleeping on the ground, cooking on campfire */or camp cook stove, flashlights and lanterns, no electricity, food in coolers - raccoons in coolers, no bathrooms,, bathing in the lake,. . . you get the picture. I can say, those are some of our best memories and best laughs ❣️

Y'all... I just want you to know how much I love watching your videos (both channels) I have had some scary health issues this year that have gotten progressively worse over the last 6 years. So I had a heart procedure on 5/18 called an SVT ablation to try to fix my fast beating heart. But it didn't work or it worked too well and I ended up having a very slow (too slow at 33 bpm) heart beat bc my scarring partially blocked the AV node that communicates the electrical impulses in the heart. So on 5/27 they admitted me into the hospital for bradycardia until I could have pace maker surgery on 5/30. About an hour or two after my surgery I got a call that told us one of the leads in my heart came loose and I would need to have the same surgery the next day to replace it 😢 so I am 5 days post op and I have been watching your videos for months and months but binging on them during my recovery which is at least two weeks of doing a lot of nothing. I just wanted to thank you for what you do, it brings me joy and my husband and I have eaten some great recipes from the Bunkey's LOL! May God continue to bless your journey! Love you both!!❤

We keep a notebook in the camper. I map out the route, use rv apps for overnight campgrounds. I note if the campground is good/bad so I dont make that mistake again. I also put names/addresses/phone of campers we meet on our travels. Other campers always have good RV tips and info on campgrounds nationwide. Its a constant learning process. I also have a checklist attached to panel door. He does outside chores n I do inside. When it's time to pack up and leave it makes it easy!

Boondocking and dispersed camping has it's rewards, but there is a generator etiquette that RV parkers must grow accustom to and plan energy consumption and generator usage. You will inevitably buy extra fold up/prop-up larger solar panels and learn to run the generator every minute you relocate the Rv or take a trip to the dump station / water fill/ grocery store so as not to trigger your neighbors 😅

Glad you are trying out a diff type of RVing. Looks like ya'll unplugged from the truck overnight which is good. For anyone not aware, when you pull in for a night, if you don't unplug (not unhitch) from the trailer, it will drain your battery so fast. We learned the hard way years ago. So happy to see you enjoying different types of camping. If you don't have the Allstays phone app, it's pretty handy when traveling. You can filter 'all the things' from cg's to dump stations etc. Enjoy your journey and keep on rollin.

So, you’re over in Destin & I live in Panama City. Wish we could have met for lunch or something. BTW, we lived in Georgtetown, SC many years ago when we were very young. Next trip, you might want to try staying at the state park at PC Beach. It’s on the beach on one side & the other side Is on the lagoon. They have lots of camping sites, a beautiful beach, a big fishing pier, deer that are so tame they will walk right up to you. And of course, there are lots of touristy things to do at the beach. Boat trips over to Shell Island where you can stay a few hours & catch the next boat back, Dolphin Tours & great places to eat. Let me know if you come this way & we’ll take you out for lunch or dinner. You are so cute together & I enjoy keeping up with you. Have fun on your trip.

Growing up when used to camp on property along Colorado river that was $1 a day. Swimmingly, fishing and climbing huge oak trees kept us kids entertained. We loved that place and it’s one of my fondest memories growing up and that was 55+ yrs ago. My parents taught us you don’t have to spend a bunch of money to have fun. Y’all have fun and continue making memories together!❤️

I’m sure those are wonderful memories! We thoroughly enjoyed the time to disconnect and appreciate our surroundings, it was great. Thanks for watching 🥰
