How big is the lot I have 4 acres I’m thinking about clearing and turning into an equipment storage lot so just wondering about how much it would cost around?

That dang internet cable was most certainly holding up some serious progress. You win twice. Room to grow and less grass and weeds to cut.
@savvydirtfarmer2 жыл бұрын
YES!! We';; still plenty of weeds, but much fewer.

So excited for you and the family!!!! I do not have a nursery but enjoy watching the progress you are making each day and am learning things about plants that I never knew before, so thank you!! (I don't know who your family is rooting for today but I live about 30 minutes from Philadelphia so I'm in EAGLES country) Good luck to both teams!!

Looks great! Congratulations on another step forward. I’m curious if this came out of your original $50k budget. I’m interested in the numbers and how you manage to remain debt free which is an awesome accomplishment!
@savvydirtfarmer2 жыл бұрын
That budget we mentioned was only for the land. Water, electric, house, sewer, gravel, shade houses, plants, fence... everything else, is in addition. We saved for it all. And, the nursery, over recent years, we have reinvested every penny we made into the nursery, now having thousands of plants. And, we sold our house... living off the equity and building the business with it until we can get things rolling. Thankful for the huge increase in home values in the last 2 years... it really helped make this possible.

Congratulations, you have come a long way since this video.. Lots of hard work and it looked amazing this past weekend when I stopped by. I know that it wasn’t this video but, are you still of the opinion of planting the green giants in the ground is a worthwhile process? I am debating whether or not to prepare a bed for some emerald greens to grow next season. Your advice?
@savvydirtfarmer4 ай бұрын
I would grow them in containers... but I have a good setup for regular/daily water. Otherwise, I would grow them in the ground. Wish you'd have said "hi" when you were here. Didn;t realize who you were until after you left.
@LibertyFallFarms4 ай бұрын
@@savvydirtfarmer I wish that I would have as well. I have conditioned myself not to talk plants if I am on a schedule. I struggle with talking too much lol. I am planning on stopping by during your spring sale.
