We've been extremely nervous about the revel, as we are obviously a camping channel, but we hope a little space and some new ideas will help elevate our adventures even further!

Easy to clean up the property. Section off around the cabin for fire break first. Then work your way back through the property. We have 20 + acres of wooded property with no downed trees or dead-fall. Takes time but worth it. Our annual tree loss is our firewood.

I know I’m a little late commenting on this video, but I just got a chance to watch it for I’ve been on a cruise ship as I said on Instagram to you. But I am very, very happy for you both. I love your little cabin in the woods, especially since it’s in Michigan. I am 100% Michigander. I love my state. I travel it several times a year myself. Also, I believe we follow the people. I don’t think we just follow what they do so yes, I will definitely keep watching you guys, especially in your travels to Michigan, which brought me to your channel on the first place, my boyfriend and I are actually tent campers. We camp in the UP every summer. I wish you both nothing but the best and I will continue to watch.

You both are so lucky. You have your youth and good health, and you have a truck camper !!! And now a home base in Michigan!! It's a win-win all the way around. Now, something to tuck the truck camper under? Those metal open ends dome shelter/garage. After viewing that drone footage, I see a log splitter, a lawn tractor/mower, and a trailer in your future. I'd also invest in motion sensors/lighting. I'd also invest a couple of trail cameras to see what kind of animals/predators are lurking around! Gotta protect your little fur, baby!! Take a month to see Novascotia and PEI and take Ferry to Newfoundland and plan to spend 2 months at least. If you feel adventurous take the ferry from Newfoundland to Labrador, get a sat phone from the hotel and go see Goose Bay then drive all the way back to Quebec, leaving the sat phone at that ends hotel. It is quite an adventure, plenty to see along the way. It is beautiful. Mali Mish channel did it a couple of years ago too. Dan, his wife and 3 kids with 2 cats in a truck camper or van I believe.

Do you know I think keeping the channel fresh and changing things up a little bit is good for the channel you’ll get more people because you have more things to share. And it will also encourage people to maybe think of the box about their lives too.

Congratulations on the sweet cabin in the woods! Have a few suggestions gleaned from hard-won experience on how to keep deer from devouring your garden: We began with a 40'x40' veggie & fruit garden. We had 2 acres that had a 'deer road' through it. We tried angled fence, double fence, laying fencing on the ground on the outside perimeter (supposedly they don't like to step on the wire fencing.) You name it, we tried it! Even tried predator urine as a deterrent, lol..... Only to look out the kitchen window to see a buck pulling up and tossing my prized carrots into the air! If you have a big garden that you don't want to become a deluxe salad bar for the herd, you need a 10' high fence (or read on.). (Just running across the yard you would not believe how high deer bound.)...It' was a lot of time, work and expense to feed those deer! .....Until we went smaller and most importantly, narrow. Narrow with an 8' tall fence. It worked! Deer don't like to leap into a narrow, confined space. Good luck! PS Would also like to throw out there the suggestion of permaculture crops that you plant once and reap their yield every year...paw paws, persimmon, Asian pear, figs are all pest-resistant and high-yielding. There are pest-resistnat apple varieties. Nut trees. Some take a few years to produce - but you are young! Berry bushes, grapes. Asparagus, burdock....

I have been wanting to tell the 2 of you. I own a 2017 Travel Lite Illusion 960. I am selling the camper. I have 770 watts of solar installed on top. The refrigerator has its own freezer compartment. It is an open floor plan. I have a 2000 watt Bluetti with a 3072 watt extension battery (5072 watts). AC, yes! It works Great! Brand new heater installed 1 year ago. Bed is north/south. Rieco electric jacks, they are awesome! The microwave is also an oven. 3 burner stove. Tanks: Fresh 32 + 6 hot water heater/Black 27/Grey 21. The basement is heated. Double propane tank.
