We Bought a Condo in the Philippines | VLOG + Breakfast in BGC, Taguig

Join us as we learn all about the Velaris Residences developed by Robinsons Land and Hong Kong Land located in Bridgetown, Metro Manila. Our day starts off at a hip cafe in BGC, Taguig, called Fat Seed. We then meet up with Zaldy Herrera from Calidad Realty to explore all that Velaris Residences has to offer. We end up buying a condo! It took 24 years to build BGC and do not see Bridgetown being able to duplicate it. However the building and amenities looked nice and price was about about 100K USD less than you pay for same SF in BGC so seems like a good deal. The 80% due in 4 years could be a problem for some buyers.

We viewed Seasons and didn't like the finishings, amenities or overall building. Seasons location is much better, yes, but we liked Velaris 10x more : ) Seasons was also a bit more expensive at the time we were shopping.

@@zndtravel2650 for us it was different as we preferred the minimalist aesthetic of the seasons also given the massive podium there’s literally double the space for amenities. the Velaris has three buildings but we were informed amenities are not shared. Anyhow to each it’s own. It was more a comment on what the agent said in the video about price differences which there seem to be none. And nevertheless Bridgetown seems to be delivering its promises (a Shang development will be soon rising next to Velaris). So good choice 👍
