I am recently widowed. I am giving my house to my daughter and her family. I purchased a used 1995 RV for myself to live in! It's quite a job to move from 3000 square feet into 300 square feet but I love having my own space!!! Hope that you enjoy yours too!! Thank you for sharing your family with us!!

I love that y'all do everything as a family. Yeah it might be easier to just send the hubby and you stay home with the kids. But the family time is something that you can never get back. Oh the joys of fixer upper vehicles. Used to pick up cars from the auction and bring them home to sell. It was a 50/50 on a break down lol but oh the adventures and stories i can tell! Enjoy your new-to-you RV!

Joy, my stomach jumped into my throat when I saw Evvy laying on your bed next to the pillow, so close to her mouth and nose. Normally I would never talk to somebody about anything related to parenting or anything so personal, but I just feel the Lord leading me to mention to you that it would be good to be watchful regarding lying Evvy down in your bed to sleep. A daycare provider near my town laid baby down for a nap this last week and the baby died. He suffocated because the mattress was too soft; he had rolled over in his sleep and suffocated. He was alone in the bed for 15 to 30 minutes. I cannot imagine the heartbreak that sweet baby boys parents are going through now, nor the incredible guilt and shame that the care provider must feel. I recently lost my granddaughter, when she was stillborn 9 weeks preterm. I know that you and Austin experienced a similar loss with your daughter Annabelle and I cannot bear to think of anything happening to Evvy. If I did not care so much I would not ask you to think twice about putting her on your bed even for a short nap, because you have already lost so much. I pray that everyone in your family is doing well and that almighty God would bless you abundantly, each one!

You guys have the cutest kids. It’s great that they’re good travellers and don’t mind being in the car long periods of time. It makes travelling anywhere so much easier and more enjoyable. Congrats on your RV. Fixing it up will be a lot of work but so much fun. It’s so great that you and Austin know how to do all this stuff. It saves you a lot of expense in the long run and it’s just fun to do and see what you’ve created in the end. Hope your water issue got fixed before to long. Freezing temperatures etc has been a struggle for many people this year. Have a great week!

Joy, When it gets cold (close or freezing, run your water in the kitchen/bathrooms, etc. just a trickle and this will keep your pipes from freezing. (make sure it's the hot water faucet that you turn on.) My parents used to do this all the time. Opening the hot water lines will help you NOT have frozen pipes again.

It don’t have to be the hot. My husband who is a contractor looked at me weird when I asked (our weather is no where near needing it). He said the cold water was fine and actually the hot will make her hot water heater runs continuously. Beside a really high light bill, it’s not good on the hot water pump. I’m not trying to be rude. I’ve heard the sink thing my whole life. I just wasn’t sure hot or cold till I asked the hubby
