We Bought A Texas Size Truck Load Of Model A Parts!!!

With a few days left before Christmas, Matt and Mike hopped on a plane headed South to Texas, to hunt down some Model A's. A viewer had an email about two Model A projects and a whole bunch of parts that were apart of his Father In-Law's estate. The family was looking to sell all of the car related parts and the two projects in one deal. Of course we couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy two killer Model A's and have the opportunity to dig through the buildings on the property. To make our lives easier we hired our friend Eric and his 53' moving trailer to help move all the cars and parts back to Pennsylvania. Once it is back to PA we will be doing a video showing everything we snagged!!!

free reign auto salvage sounds like an awesome deal to me! the only things left would be what i couldn't tetris into the trailer. pack the cars full, and load them first, then fill the space above and in between them from the front to the doors. what a nice crimmas present they gave you.

I don't know how long this went on but the Sears Robuck catalog had all the parts for module "A" and "T" fords. You could order them all and build one of them from scratch. This would still be a business idea that would work. Manufacture all the parts and offer them for restoration or an entire build.

I hope that you could get that lawn mower. It was a case garden tractor. It had the 3 point hitch on it. It could be used for a lot of things. It is worth getting if you could. But you got a lot of great things. Glad you could save them.

Amazed that there are still so many parts for Model A's around, I did a Google search. From '27 to '32 Ford produced 5 million Model A's. Amazing. 19:59 You guys have to do something with those horns, even if it's just hang them on the wall of your shop.

Texas is a good place to find old iron , theirs a road from Huntsville to that splits north east and runs to Trinity then to Crocker Tx , it’s SH 19 , In the distance of travel one day. I notice 2 large fields of old cars , some posted signs but they have an entrance at both locations . I Estimate both locations had over 300 cars each on a sizable piece of land . I google earthed so you can somewhat see the location from above , between trinity and Crockett on SH 19 . Maybe selling something , you might call a local hot toddler in the area if they can fill in any details That is if it’s not their private honey hole . A lot of oil families in these parts , cars were bought and not sold very often , just put on the pasture .

Merry Christmas Matt. Would be nice to buck trend and make the coupe a hi'boy with cowl sides. I love the rad lowrider stuff too. Clean the dust out of the transmission and motor of the clock. Lubricate, plug it in and manually push the minute hand. Those synchron 1rpm motors are robust.
