Hi Cathryn, we really like the toilet tent. I can understand why you wouldn’t want to use it if you were moving around a lot though. We travelled around loads on the Cornwall trip and while it was a bit of a faff, it was easy enough to do once we got the hang of it. The videos from Cornwall are coming up next so stay tuned :)

Thanks. Great timing, literally just looked at these, thinking the double would be a loo one side, store on the other, rather than an awning. Was really hoping to find an air rather than pole setup but there is very limited choice..cheers

Hi Andy, I think the double one would be ideal for storage in one side and the loo in the other. Definitely a great alternative to taking a full awning. Know what you mean about the air ones, not much about in terms of toilet tents. Glad the video came at the right time for you :)

is it see though? we bought a cheap maypole one and if you are inside with a light at night, poeple outside get an interesting shadow play...

😂 Not going to lie you can see some shadows at night with a light on 😂 We just just run with it though. Bet people hate being camped near us 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Awesome, hope you find it really useful when you do try it out. We think the double looks really good. If we had that one we’d use one half for the toilet and the other half for storage. Thanks for your comment :)

Hi - like you I've given up on pop-up toilet tents. I even went through 2 Kampa toilet tents in 4 years due to the rather exposed camping locations - so how well does this cope with wind?

All we can say is that it survived a ridiculously windy time at Sango Sands campsite up in the Highlands🤣 It was that bad we had honestly made our peace with the fact that it would be ruined, but it survived!! We could hear it being battered all night on the worst night and it seemed to hold up pretty well in the end!

@@VanVibesandSibes Many thanks - it does seem to be the best built one I've come across except the Joolca one which is properly over-engineered. There is a Quest collapsible one too.

Hi, yes we still find it useful. We don’t use it every time though. If we’re super close to the toilet block we don’t always bother with it. I think on the NC500 we only used it at Sango sands because the toilet block was really far away from our pitch. I can definitely confirm it holds up in very high winds 😂 We thought it was going to blow away at sango but it stood it’s ground 😂

Where did you get the box for the toilet

The toilet came as part as the van conversion. The conversion company make the boxes themselves to put them in. They used to sell them separately on their website but I’m not sure if they still do. I had a quick look but I can’t seem to find them. The company is called New Wave Custom Conversions if you’d like to double check.

Haha! Good question! There is a strict number 2 ban on that toilet but if there wasn’t, Rich would probably take the switch in there to while away some time🤣
