My whole take on the expensive versus cheap is buy whatever you can afford. For me, I like high-end gear and it’s what I enjoy spending my money on. At the end of the day if you’re catching fish that’s all that matters. Thank you for doing this video it was really entertaining and cool to see both sides of the spectrum.I have one message for everyone get out there and catch some fish and do what makes you happy you only live once.

I've had really good luck with some of the wlure products. Their two better levels of treble hooks are an insane value, and some of their lures are real fish catchers. They often need tuning and a couple coats of clear as some may fill with water without being sealed. But for a buck or two per lure, if you buy the color that's on sale, they are worth a shot.

Have yall ever tried the x-nanahan jerkbait from megabass? I love that thing, especially in +1 and +2. I was fishing a lake that struggles with bass a week and a half ago, and I was slaying crappie on that thing.

Quality control is the issue with Ozark trail baits. Had one of those ploppers in a Christmas bag and and OT lipless... it's a lipless. But was orettt impressed with the plopper. Before it started getting beat up. And then the one I bought... garbage. Never bought another . Just catch clearance r2s ploppies or go with some custom finesse style ones. Great job again guys

For chatterbait imo don't sleep on the custom. It's fairly cheap has good color variety and being tw exclusive don't know that a lot of people are going to be throwing them for fish to be used to its sound. It also starts up pretty quickly which is good

I'm lucky, my favorit bladed jig is the cheapst on you can get in store Armade eye chatter. What on do not se on the picture is that the head is super narrow so it's super stabil but stil just kick out to the side randomly or when popping it. Absolut banger! So is rappala clown. :P We do have a few tacke shops in sweden that will ship to the states if you ever wanna do something with that information i'll be glad to lend a hand. :)

The ozark trail plopper has thicker wire through the body than the knockoffs from China (temu and sites alike). They have solid eagle claw lazer sharps bn hooks. Solid and decent sharp hooks. I caught a bunch of fish on the bluegill color including one 7.5lber and mine js still going strong. It actually really surprised me lol

Should have added the rapala rip and stop is by far the best jerkbait i have ever used. The hooks are reliable and sharp.smooth sides make it dart like no other.

The regular Rico popper is not close to the Rio Rico the original was the Rico they made the Rio Rico because people wanted more of a chugger type popper. The regular Rico is more of a slower walking style popper they are completely different baits

@aaanglers zara spook, slug go, all great others ones also. I caught a 13lb large mouth on a 1/4 spook. Yo zuri lures are also great. Notice alot of new stuff is out and the new guys don't hear about stuff that's been landing lunkers for ever. I've been bass fishing for alittle over 40 years. I enjoy ya vids.

If you think the magdraft is high quality you are out of your mind. I’ve had many of these and the magnet never seems to fail at flying out after 1 fish. I have contacted them and the amount of work you have to do submitting claims is ridiculous. The only thing I like from mega ads is there rods and for $900 that’s not saying much.

@ agreed but unless you got super glue your treble hangs in the grass while trying to use it without magnet. I’m in Ohio and this year the grass was terrible from Erie all the way to the Ohio river

There really aren't any. Big smallies live in Lake St. Clair or the great lakes.
