They’re not unfortunately people do it anyway and hope they can get away with it, which causes issues for service dog handlers who are often denied access to the public because store workers have had a negative experience with people bringing pets.

Not trying to be hateful just something to think about as a disabled person who uses a service dog when people bring their pets into non pet friendly stores it creates access issues for people who use service animals and because your pet isn’t trained in the same way service animals are it can be a distraction for the service animal which puts their handler in danger
