Yes, the enjoyment of having your own house is special. I had this house built when I was 21 years old...a three bedroom, 2 bathroom, raised rancher with real hardwood floors on 2 acres and a one car garage. Of course, back then, this house only cost $38,400 to build, but that was 50 years ago. I'll live in this house until I die, because there is no other place that I'd rather live. Anyway, congratulations on your new home!

Montana I know you've struggled with your health and want a family so badly. It will happen. Just keep praying and listening to your body. This is coming from a woman that had 5 miscarriages and was blessed finally with a beautiful preemie baby that was 1 pound 13 ounces and was 3 and a half months early! God answers prayers big time!! I also went on to have 2 more little girls full term. Now my little preemie baby is about to graduate college with a family ministry and art degree. She's been on the Dean's is all 4 years and is graduating with honors. Prayer is sooooooooo powerful. I'm almost 50 now and have been married to my husband since I was 19. We built our home together at your age. Pray over your family. God always provides. I love that movie "war room". Yall should watch it. Your role as a wife and mother soon is such a very important role. God bless yall. I enjoy yalls videos.

Congratulations to both of you! I have built both of my homes, my first at age 21 and my second at 31. Both of my builders were great and each had their pros and cons throughout the process. Looking back, the biggest things I would change is not paying the crazy markups for things I could do my self. Things like light fixtures, faucets and smart home equipment are things you can do for SUBSTANTIALLY cheaper than what the builder will charge. The areas you have your builder do are things you cannot do cheaply or easily after you take the home. Things like pre-wiring for TVs, whole whole audio, running ethernet cables, plumbing work and structural changes should all be done by the builder. Add extra electrical outlets. Whenever you think you might need one more, add 2! Put them in your closet and in places you might not think you need them. Things like ceiling fans will be marked up 200-300% for the fan, plus 200-300% the cost it will take you to install it, or have a contractor install it later. Window tint for privacy and heat control! Sorry for rambling, but your video took me back, and I am hoping to make your journey a little easier. Best of luck and congratulations once again!
