I would just pick up everything to the last item, not leaving even a rusted nail. Then go home, or at the shop unload everything in the yard and decide whats good whats scrap value. Even if you sell everything for 1$ per item you have huge profit, but only if you took everything.

That rear view mirror looked like a 66 Chevy truck mirror, probably out of that 66 Chevy box truck! I bought a whole wall out of a garage that was lined with shelfs full of hundreds of old coffee cans, all labeled, with nuts bolts, brass fittings, everything you could imagine, for $17 at a end of a estate sale, they had forgot about the contents of the garage! There was only 2 or 3 people left that were bidding! It filled up my PU bed level full of all the old coffee cans, and I used that stuff for the next 10 or 15 years as my personal hardware store! When you live out in the country 10 miles to the closest town, it came in so handy, so many times!

When you buy the whole kit and caboodle in a building do you pick out what you want and leave the rest. To me that wouldn't be respectful to the sellers but nowadays people don't treat others with respect. Time consuming fun.

I called them out for lack of auction etiquette on their first video of this auction. It didn't seem to matter as they stuck someone else the cleanup expense after they picked it. But as they say, "you can't fix stupid".

@@robertholt9718 if you buy the entire contents that ,to me ,means you are responsible for the entire contents. Tires are expensive to get rid of especially if you do it responsibly. Kansas charges$11 for each car tire disposal and $17 for tire and rim. I would be interested in knowing what happens to these misfit tires and rims that these junkers leave behind.

The framed print you found at 42:19 is a Boeing 247. First produced as a civillian airliner in 1933, the 247 was the first airliner made with all=metal construction. Because the airplane shown is painted in a military livery, I would say your print dates from WWII. The 247 saw Army Air Corps service during WWII as the C-73. The NRA sticker on the back is a mystery. The NRA ended in 1935, when the U.S. Supreme Court declared it unconstitutional.
@mr.goodpliers6988

I feel the best way of emptying something like that is "S.S.T." ie: Save, Sell, Trash piles (don't study, 3 seconds an item or it's Trash). You may go to the Trash pile and rethink (5 seconds an item or it stays in Trash) and it's likely you may have a "M", ie: Miscellaneous pile. Of course this suggestion is after you're finished. ;-D I thought you couldn't leave anything you bought, that's why they sold it so they didn't have to deal with it? ;-)
