When I first watched the playthrough and the incest was revealed I was in straight up denial 😂. I was like "There's tons of people named Dahlia, why is she automatically my mom?!?!" "Until we do a DNA test, what evidence is there that we siblings!??!" Not trying to support incest but if someone is going to tell me that the person I've been in love with for 8 years is really my sibling I ain't gonna take you seriously. The love I felt for you was real and I'm gonna need time to cut that off. That's my only criticism of the game, it pigeonholes you after the reveal and rushes you to the conclusion.

idk if anybody noticed, but at the very beginning of the game, the painting situated right above the couch had just two fully grown trees, the one above where the wife sits, representing her, and the bigger one above where the husband sits, representing him. then later on, after the husband is told by the wife about the pregnancy, a little tree appeared right between the two bigger trees, obviously signifying the husband, wife, and the pregnancy [the wife tree even scooted in closer to the other two trees]. but, after the game continued on even though the fake cop didn’t kill the husband and wife, the trees started to decay more, the baby tree and the wife tree having completely no leaves but the husband tree still had some left. and after the wife finds out everything, the painting is was situated in winter, with the baby tree completely gone and the wife and father tree completely lacking leaves, plus the wife tree distanced itself away from the husband tree. this tiny detail is now one of my most favorite parts about this game, it just really shows the attention to detail and effort put into this whole thing.

It's the same with the painting in the room. I've watched three full playthroughs and have yet to see anyone take notice. When I played, I looked at the painting (with the lights on) multiple times, here and there. The husband and wife are close, holding hands as bride and groom. During one of these instances, I came to realize the ever so slight shadow behind the husband was sporting DEVIL HORNS. That tipped me off early that there must've been something up with the husband-- that HE'S actually the half-brother. Like the one in the living room, this picture evolves. I'm not sure exactly when, but eventually the husband is reaching for the wife, whom is turned as if running away, and the MONSTER shadow is clearly visible, targeting the wife. After the truth is revealed, the final evolution displays the husband with his hand over his head, leaning on the banister, all alone. There's also the egg picture above the stove that evolves. At first, it's just a plain ol' egg. It evolves to show a crack at the very top. Then, it evoles to show a bigger crack and a "monster" eye peering out of the tiny hole. While I'm at it... Berlin never looked at them, but-- There are two paintings at the beginning of the game, as soon as you exit the elevator. The one on the left is a large bookcase completely filled with books. Included in those is a red one that stands out. That is the book the wife has the whole time-- the same one that fell off the shelf at the end (in this particular ending). The picture on the right was a beautiful flower, a dahlia. This game fiya as hell 🔥🔥👌🏽😭

Berlin, there's technically seven different endings to the game, but only four of them actually break the loop, and for one of those four you would have to completely restart the game to before you even started looping back in the first place. I mean it’s not uncommon for that to happen and they also didn’t have the same mom. They are technically half brother and sister. Also, I’m not trying to get TOO technical but siblings or cousins had to procreate with each other at a point in time in order to help with the population of humans on earth. It’s honestly apart of human evolution /population. And if we’re being honest, Queen Elizabeth II (the current queen) was married to and had kids with her 3rd cousin Prince Charles. They were married up until he died and they had 3 healthy kids that are still alive. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong, but it’s interesting how some people pick and choose what is okay depending on who is doing it. Why do I say that? Because an entire country and even people outside their country loves the hell out of that woman even after knowing she was doing things with her cousin. I’m just giving perspective. Also, Berlin tends to insert himself into these games so it wouldn’t be surprising if he wasn’t registering that they’re half siblings.

Well not really because the scene before that when he told her “I’m your brother.” She didn’t say anything about it. Only when Berlin made the main character tell her that it wasn’t his fault is when she called him an “animal”. Cause I don’t know if y’all over looked that part, but even after he told her “I’m your brother”, she kept calling him “My husband.” Also, y’all need to realize that Berlin is inserting himself into the game, so from his perspective, he’s not looking at it like “oh the main character and the girl are siblings.” It’s very clear that he inserts himself into these games all the time lol

Not only did he find out one he has a father. . .who NEVER wanted him, find out the woman he loves is his sister, then keep in mind it isn't uncommon for family who have never met to struggle with feelings they develop before finding out they are related. And he got blamed for the death of 2 women (dad is kind of horrid). . .Trauma can make your brain erase the worse things in your mind to help you cope. whether he wants to lie n be with her OR just tell her the truth so she knows the father tries to kill him regardless.. triggering the trauma response.... Cause dad didn't want his daughter to know. So I mean ya know. It ALOT to unpack in this game.

Yup, hypnotism is part of the game. I haven't watched the video yet but it seems like Berleezy didn't even get a proper ending, so I'll explain. There's an ending called the "Continue" ending that ends with the father hypnotizing the MC, making him forget about everything and enter a dream (which is the entire game). It's ALSO why the game is called "12 minutes" when the loop only lasts for 10 minutes, the MC's conversation with the dad started 2 minutes before 12, and the game starts immediately after that, which is why the game has the option "Continue" when you first boot the game up, instead of "New game" like literally every other game. There is WAY more to the story than this though, and it's pretty difficult to understand the entire thing unless you've thought about it for a while and seen the game over 10 million times like I have. The main important stuff to understand is just that the entire game is part of a hypnotism dream that the dad put the MC into in response to him being in love with his sister.
