😳 that's a bit of a clusterfck there Jason. Hope you get it back in shape. I used to work on North Sea oil rig repairs ( retired now) and it takes me back, though ours was all heavy repairs.. Best to you! Remember old guy welding,always said " get it soundin' like bacon fryin' and you'll be fine"

Great video good luck out there.

Thanks for another great video Jason! I really enjoyed seeing the repair work. Still sorry you got nailed when you finally found the go fast secret in your setup of the GRT! You was sure headed to the front from way back and that had to be lots of fun. I was surprised to see the holes cut through the frame rails where the cross member attached. Do you have any idea why they would have done that? It just seemed to me like it would have weakened the main rails a bit. I'm sure they had a reason. Good luck getting her done and back on the track having fun.

Not sure of your rules but what spline on axle are you running ? I ran 35 spline for that reason harder to bend
@calvinh.88824 жыл бұрын
I think that sidebar got bent in during the feature of the Street Stock Nationals when that 15 car got loose and into the side of you. He kinda hit you with his driver's front and it pushed his front off so hard that the rear of his car got loose and kinda fishtailed and swung back and nailed your car right where that bar was bent.

Are you sure your not racing in the demolition class?😄😄😄 We have a sportsman class that races big old cars, their cars look just like yours after a race. They don't make a bunch of money but they don't spend a lot to have fun tearing it up.😄😄😄

From the looks of your car and remembering the race itself, I believe this was the night the flagman was taking Hydrocodone for a tooth ache and forgot his glasses. It was also a full moon and several wife’s sent some of drivers packing. It was a night when several drivers left the sportsmanship cards at home...lol....
