We Broke up the Feral Brothers today…

Just as the title sez…it’s been a💯pleasure working with ‪@UkuleleSioni‬, but John came to practice today and we talked about what we have accomplished, what has failed, this that and the 3rd…we decided it was kinda like putting the square peg in the round hole and threw in the towel today. I’m so grateful to have gotten to know John and work with him on such a musical adventure as we did.
For anyone interested, I have a whole playlist of Feral Bros. gigs and rehearsals here that will be staying up as is.

And I love you too, Pat-a true Christian gentleman. It’s been an adventure and a pleasure getting to know you, and hopefully we’ll still get to play together in the Ol Ornery Cornbread Choir. And even if, ultimately, we couldn’t make this project work, I feel like I’ve learned a lot from you musically. In the end, I think I just lack the skills to adapt well your wild and woolly approach. I’m not as feral as I wanted to think I was. But you’ve got something unique and powerful going on there, and I wasn’t happy with the thought you had to try to rein yourself in to make room for me.

Thanks for all your kind words John! I learned quite a lot as well…I’m sad it didn’t work out as we thought it might but hey…the future is wide open, God willing, and yes I sure hope the Cornbread Choir gets cookin again! I’m always looking forward to our next hangout, John!

Oh yeah…it’s not a bad thing, we came to the common agreement that it just wasn’t really turning out like either of us were completely satisfied with. John is also still gonna play washboard with it Cornbread Choir as well. 👍 it’s all good 🙂
