The Caballus Series is a Syntacs Final Adventure in Ark Survival Evolved before making the switch over to ARK Survival Ascended later this year. I'm fairly certain the reason the Megapithecus is so weak is because it's intended to be fought rather early on. Most people simply wait until they've out-scaled it to fight it though. It makes sense for a mid-game boss to be fodder to a late-game player.

The thing tho is that Snow Harambe is supposed to be fought _after_ Spider Mommy, who is considerably tougher than him.

@@emperortethysusdacertified8175 I suppose, but it's still clear that the Megapithecus is intended to be fought rather early on considering its minimum level requirement. If anything, you could say that the Broodmother is too strong for the level they let you fight it at (which could be due to it originally being a boss without an Arena, but I could have swore they rebalanced it post-boss arena).
