@@NMCK4444 I use a free program called OBS to record gameplay. It's pretty much what everyone uses and works really well, with tons of options and settings to tweak. For editing I use Davinci Resolve, which is also free and I highly recommend it. It's incredible for a free program! Though I did upgrade to the paid version eventually. But most creators would never need to upgrade. Good luck!

I had the displeasure of trying to capture an area set up much like this. I was fairly new to the game and was like... "wtf?! Why is the map set up with all this barbwire and bunkers set up surrounding the point. That's hardly fair!" Lol I found out that day how awesome a fortified point can be.

Remember engis, always put barbed wire 20-30m away from your bunkers/barricades. One mad dog sapper running and crawling through a smoke screen is all it takes to remove all that hard work

There’s really only one way to approach fortresses and that’s with armor support- you need like 3-4 tanks moving in with infantry support. Bonus points if the Americans have a Sherman or two that use smoke rounds alternating with HE to block sight lines and take out OP’s/the garrison on point.

My favorite point to do this kind of thing on is the church in St Marie du Monte always a good fight when we get that point no matter what side on an offensive map type and so much cover for attackers the fighting is always nasty and close quarters

If I was the enemy commander I would have 1) kept a steady stream of smoke from med tank so that anyone in the fort was blind to the jeeps carrying sappers. All you need to do is get the sachels in there and that is a lot of work gonzo. 2) throw a bombing run is as the infantry moves to fill the gap in the defenses while my armour attacks from the otherside to distract (cause you know everybody will go to the tanks) and then maybe a airhead on top of the blueberries that make it in just for fun. Timing is important so good SL's would be needed. PS That is a beautiful Fort.

I agree! This style fort isn't actually really that ideal (my fortification guide talks about what I feel is ideal) but they make for a more fun visual for narrative videos like this.

Good players would make short work of these defenses. The barb wire is way too close to the bunkers and barricades. They will just throw smoke in front of the bunkers and run up to make a satchel play on the barb wire. A single satchel charge on the barbwire will take the bunkers and barricades out too. Moreover because they are so close to the barbwire you can't spray the ground in front of the barbwire with an mg when they do throw smoke. Good rule of thumb: Have two concentric circles. Inner circle of barricades and bunkers and the outer circle of barb wire. At least 25 meters distance between the two. An added bonus of having the barbwire so far out in front is you keep them out of grenade range.

My next tutorial will likely be a refreshed recon guide, because it was one of the very first guides I made and I've put in thousands of hours as recon since then and learned some things along the way that aren't in my existing short guide. I'm also just a much better content creator now so I think it's time I do recon justice by making a new, refreshed guide. But beyond that perhaps a full AT gun guide would be good. It only takes one guy with a satchel to sneak up close. A sneaky satchel would take out a huge hole, and then a quick bombing run would clear it out. But that requires a pretty good amount of communication and teamwork, which unfortunatly isn’t always easy to accomplish
