You should totally continue the rocks around Cayman Creek and have a set of natural stone steps to "step" up into the enclosures. It would complete the naturalistic and botanical look.

Kenan, there appeared to be a space between the two log ramp that gets more narrow as they slide down toward the ground. We had an overhead shot, a perspective that you may not have had. Check that space and make sure a toe or limb can't get caught as they slide down. I wouldn't want them to get stuck while you're off doing something else and possibly cause necrosis. You might need to fill that gap in with some foam or something.
@chrisoldnall236410 ай бұрын
Awesome, you should take a roller brush and paint the outside black, it will make the wire disappear from the outside, making visibility from the outside clearer

@@KampKenan Yo 🐕🦺🙌🤠 have you about making a secondary enclosure just for the female black throat or(cause that one you can "enter-lock" and inside have half gravel mesh,with the underground wiring under it,and on their side make it medium soft dirt and under it the wiring. That way the female can learn to dig unless you want to just again same concept 💡🙌 build another enclosure than build a huge laybox fill it medium soft dirt) and only let her in if she's been digging around cause if let her in before she's ready shell go in and dig in all up and not lay anything ..
@robertlukacs176210 ай бұрын
Hey your going to find out that corrugated tube will be a lot better when you put drainage holes in it. When they poop 💩 in it you’ll be able to wash it out and not have a mess. My advice on the space between the two structures is to plant your bamboo. Once grown in will hide both structures but also give the appearance of a escape route. Or even the cactus that you feed your animals with. Just my opinion. Love the cages. Oh one more idea place a camera at the opening that you’re able to view from your house. Quick glance to see when cold outside they went in or not.

not sure if you thought about it but you should build a support brace for the bottom middle of that tube. that will prevent sagging and if branches hit it the connections won't loosen up.

Yeah mate that heavy gauge wire looks excellent and definitely the best possible stuff that you could have used. The whole build is awesome and escape proof and probably secure from thieves unless they're super determined which you couldn't stop anyway. That's very unlikely anyway, not a second time.

Thats such an awesome setup!! That's literal goals for sure someday!! Very happy for you and the critters!! Side note tho, that white DE powder you had on your boots can actually be pretty unhealthy for any animals that come across it so be careful. It's made with a few things but the big dangerous ingredients are Asbestos and fiber glass. So definitely make sure it's cleaned off before going around critters to help prevent any issues. I only know because it's what's used in DE pool filters and I'm a pool tech that handles it everyday. Just a heads up, I love your channel and can't wait to watch it grow even bigger!!!

Awesome cage, super build well done! If it was me I would make the ramp to the far long end of the cage now it is totally divided into two. It will be a pain in the ass to move in the cage. It will give you so much more real estate inside! You can even put something for you to sit on and be with them even more. They will also feel more secure to not fall off having the cage wire to hold on. Awesome build!
