Yugioh is the worst TCG in history of TCGs, and unfortunately HS is becoming more like YGO with every expansion they release. I do not agree with the design philosophy the HS team has adopted where every deck is so efficient, has infinite resources and cheats infinite mana to kill you consistently on turn 4 or 5 unless you kill them first. Late game is non existent unless you are druid which isn't really late game they just get 10 mana on turn 5. What gets me excited when playing HS is cards like Titans, Quests, big splashy legendries not turn 4/5 combo kills or scam big minions early. If i wanted my games to last 4 turns i would play YGO.

weird, every card games makes me appreciate magic more but not hearthstone. I am just stuck with hearthstone since I am too poor for more than 4 decks per season. The free to play experience or even spending like a little bit is despicable on MTGA. If you want to play multiple control/midrange decks(which I like) you literally have to spend at least the 60 dollar bundle 4 times a year.

Lands can definitely be annoying in mtg but I think it adds an interesting deck building element, not only with what is the perfect amount to put in for your curve, but also how many colors do you want, how many multicolored cards, and how many actually mana intensive cards can you afford to put in

This deck is AWESOME! This feels like some older rogue decks I remember playing just cranked up to 11. I'd definitely try this if I decide to come back to hearthstone. Side note, I really like these hearthstone games played specifically for youtube. Not that the streams are bad or anything, but there's a really fun vibe to this too!

Hey Rarran, you should try Dan Hearth's Griftah OTK rogue deck. It's really fun and in my experience also really hard to play. Super rewarding though and the combo doesn't have to worry about unkilliax!

Of course magic doesn't feel goated to you if you're playing bo1 standart. Unlike in hearthstone standart is not where its at in magic. The real fun imo is in commander, modern, legacy and draft. And cube. Ofc everybody likes different formats, but standart is just a mess. And playing best of 1 is an absolute joke :D Not to mention that playing in paper is also more fun.
