Either way, ESpeed may not have KO'd Blastoise...but Power Whip sure would (and Weak Armor was the reason Machamp fell, because I don't think ESpeed would've taken it out without the Defense drop).

I looked this up, an extreme speed from a minus physical attack nature Tsareena into a physical defensive nature Blastoise does 21.5-25.8 percent. I don’t think Blastoise had more than 10-15 when Chillin vine whipped him. So even in the worst case scenario that still should be a one shot

Idea for an "It's how accurate!?" Challenge. Your pokemon has the moves Steel Wing (90%), Hurricane (70%), Inferno (50%), and Sheer Cold (30%). Using random encounters, you attack with any move you like. If it hits you run, if it misses you catch. You get two catches per move, totalling 8 pokemon, so best save your Sheer Colds for legendaries and Steel Wings for babies. Could also give your pokemon Hustle to increase your chance to miss.

Okay! It has been over 1 month! Since I first suggested this! Please let me know if you would be interested or not. I have an idea for Scarlet and Violet. The two of you catch one Pokémon of each type. 18 each. Now. Once you have caught all of them. You can take turns choosing to pass or take. So for a fire type. If quick takes his fire type, then chillin has to take his. And vice versa. Same rule for passing. Now a couple of rules, 1. only one legendary. You can choose to catch only one. So for dragon. If you see a dialga first, you can choose if you want that dragon or wanna save you legend for later. 2. Only one of each. So if you caught a gallade for fighting. Then you can’t catch a gallade for psychic. 3. Random moves and abilities. 4 no backtracking.

Emergency Exit isn't a bad ability! If the opponent has a trapping ability like arena trap and one powerful super effective move that leaves the mon with more than half is used, it is VERY useful for a free switch!

Idea: You both choose what Pokémon you want to bring. Random encounters in sword and shield. If the Pokémon you encounter does more then 25 damage to you, you catch it (Damage depends on what levels you guys decide to bring). Catch 9 and pick the best 6. This should eliminate babys but there are exceptions if it uses a super affective move it might get you. Would be interesting to hear why you guys choose what you do for catching.

Dastardly D4 Duel: Have a 30 minute catch 'em ups session, where you can catch anything you want in the overworld (randomized movesets and abilities). Maybe only one legend? However, during the battle, every time you attack, you have to roll a D4 die and use the corresponding move. This way you have to choose pokemon that have balanced movesets, rather than one that has three trash moves and glacial lance.

Video idea: ”Blind moves choices” The other person Will get a random encounter and let the wild Pokémon attack, then you get to choose if you want that Pokémon based on that move. You could do only fully evolved if you want, you decide! Then place them all in tier lists as follows for example: Lugia $5 Metagross $4 Tentacruel $3 Pikachu $2 Rookidee $1 Your opponent has $20 to buy their team without knowing the abilities or movesets of their choices. My thought is they would catch the Pokémon ahead of time and the video would start once the lists are made and they start choosing the Pokémon for their teams.

Love your videos guys, here's an idea. Concept: tag team duos. Basically you get 1 pokemon from a wild encounter, then you use its type chain to get an over-world encounter, those two pokemon are a pair and you either take both into battle or neither. You do this 5 or 6 times and take your favorite 3 pairs into battle.

Consecutive Team Challenge Rules: Start by catching 12 pokémon each, exclusively from random encounters (trees, fishing, etc.). Of those 12, you then have to make a team of CONSECUTIVELY-CAUGHT pokémon. For example, you could keep encounters 1-6, or 3-8, or 6-11, any six pokémon, as long as they were caught one after the other. I think it would be just as interesting to do this challenge evolved as it would be unevolved.

This makes me wonder about the viability of a 'Loving Pokemon' challenge; use Attract and if the opponent is immobilized by love then you catch them. This would rule legends (and other genderless) out by default but the major problem I see is that it would make finding encounters harder as you'd be limited by the gender of the encounter (possibly offset a little by using female leads since starters are 7/1 male/female)
