Go slow and avoid debt!! My husband and I have a rule we will not borrow to get house projects done, and while it means we took about 8 years to get the big projects done, it's a blessing. Hubby has his own business, and in the lean years we didn't struggle or have to lose our home because we had no debt other than the original mortgage - and even that will be paid off soon. Debt free is best!

I’m so happy that you don’t rush through all the work. It’s much better to take your time and to have days off and to spend time with your family. It’s so important to make time for your family and to make great memories together. It’s about having a good work/life balance. The work will always be there but the kiddos won’t. 😊😊😊

Don't worry about the pace of your work. You are generously sharing a part of your lives, if somebody is unhappy with your progress, let them start their own videos and show you how to properly do things. They will discover that a 20 minute video takes many more hours to shoot, edit and upload. Thanks for sharing. Phil

Hi Doug and Eveey I see all you have accomplished in such a short time already. Your home is beautiful. The mobile home is coming along so nicely now and your work building will serve you for so many things. I have been watching from the very beginning and you have always worked hard on all your homes. They each turned out so nice and helped you to now be in Florida where you have always wanted to be in a warm climate. Eveey you seem to be happy in this area much more. I myself do not like the cold weather at all. So that is way we have two homes and live in Florida in the winter from October to May. You are such a sweet family I am so happy you are living your dream life. Take care and see you all in the next video! 🙏🙏♥️♥️🎄

So happy to see you repair and paint those mobile home screens. They are easy to do and way less expensive to repair than buy new. It's those things that help the bottom line.

Patch looks good. The type of corrosion you're seeing with different types of metals is called galvanic corrosion. Basically two different metals and water creates a weak battery and slowly one metal dissolves and coats the other. The is the same mechanism as seen in an alkaline battery, but slower. In rechargeable batteries the mechanism can be reversed, by running a current backwards through the battery.
