Sometimes remembering isn't even the problem! Half of the time it's because your parents do the math differently from how your teacher wants it to be done! In the great words of Mr. Incredible, "Why would they change math? Math is math. MATH IS MATH!!!"
@ozymandiaspbs5 жыл бұрын
That is because the parents learned Math & the teachers are ‘teaching’ Common Core “Math”. I used to teach HS Math in public schools - “Common Core” = “Crap” ( I teach privately now, REAL MATH, as it has been taught for 4000 yrs)

My parents gave up on making us do homework eventually. In mum’s words “if you can’t teach them everything in six hours, don’t send them home and expect us to teach them” This was because mum realised that a lot of households ended up with huge arguments, and then the parents would just do it anyway, because they were too ashamed/scared to bring a kid to school without homework, making the whole thing redundant anyway. (Plus, as we were in primary/elementary school, the teachers didn’t even bother to check over it half the time; mum was a teacher aide, she saw the way many schools did it) And then my aunt gave up around that point, too. The crazy thing was, without the pressure on us to HAVE to get our homework in on time, let alone actually do it, us kids were much happier to do homework. True, we didn’t always get everything in on time, but it’s better to go to class with 80% completed homework that you did your best on, and enjoyed (somewhat), rather than 100% of homework you half-hearted simply because you were forced to do/complete it.
