The goal of this Standard Hearthstone Titans Beast Hunter OTK combo deck is to use Hodir Father of Giants combined with Always a Bigger Jormungar! We do this by playing Hodir, Stonebound Gargon, double Absorbent Parasite, and Always a Bigger Jormungar. Finally, we Rush into the opponent's for the massive OTK! Super fun meme deck! Good luck!

They work by using conductive material that has a certain amount of electrons in it that move in a particular pattern that provides a polarity and outputs a magnetic like torsion field in the direction of its polarity. Magnetic in Hearthstone however that'll be a mystery. I love how a mech can attach to a beast, not broken at all, lol. At least you didn't crash the client this time.

Excess damage always worked with d-shields, remember good old explosive runes.

It has been changed though, if you notice it subtracted 2 from the 26 (which was the minions 2 health instead of the 1 old excess damage would have done where it only subtracts 1 to pop the shield)

Excess damage ignores Divine Shields as well as Mo'arg Artificier.

its cause the effect to deal excess damage to enemy hero is calculated by just subtracting the minions health from your minion's attack

Excessive damage always deals damage equal to current target hp without taking any card text into account. That's why in case of Taelin 3 damage was dealt and the rest counted as excessive. It also worked the same way with reverbed Hodir: it took 8 damage and the rest counted as excessive even though technically only 1 damage was required to kill Hodir.

Im pretty upset I disenchanted my signature hodir … but with that dust I made the countess and that card alone literally helped me reach legend with pure pal ,,, so no regrets whatsoever . Cool combo

I've been playing a really similar list to this on ladder since the expansion launched, but with a few cards swapped out to make room for 2x dancer, and 3 secrets to get through the deck faster. The deck went 46-14 up to D5, so I feel like there's a real competitive deck there.

very interesting that it goes through divine shield but when there was the reverberation clone of hodir it had to go through the whole 8 damage!!

The divine shield redirects the damage from the minion whereas the reverb is just a normal body.

The only problem with this deck is getting people to play minions, lol. Titans brought back a lot of uninteractive decks, not as bad as Stormwind and Fractured In Alterac Valley, but enough that it's not always easy to have minions on the other side of the board.

Seeing Always a bigger Jormungar, could you revisit the unkillable minion in Gankster, Ram Mount combo. Add Jormungar to it and you'll have opponents killing themselves, yeah?

I watched your video yesterday and made this deck to try it out. I was diamond 6 and went 1-5 losing 5 in a row. made a couple changes and its better but for me hound hunter has a better win rate.

Biggest issue for me is this deck relies on lots of things not happening, freezing trap not being played, patchwork not killing one of the pieces to the combo puzzle and a bunch of other little things. But its totally a fun meme deck. I imagine it would be epic against a control warrior.

Question about the parasite, still didn't get around to testing it, and this feels like a solid place to ask... If you attach the parasite to a beast, does it become a mech? Like, can you magnetise Ziliax to a beast that has the parasite magnetised onto it?

No. I thought it was like that aswell when i crafted these parasites but got really disappointed. Was hoping that would be a bridge to magnetize beasts, but unfortunately not.

@climbingcaverns4479 my logic was that magnetising makes the minion gain the stats and the text...but as magnetising was mechs to mechs until now, we don't have a precedent for how it handles types... and when you think about it, amalgam is an amalgam because it's one part every tribe, including one part mech...and you can magnetise onto it, onto the mechanical part, right? Well. That beast the parasite got magnetised onto now has a mechanical part 😅 Slightly disappointed, but oh well

5:53 the divine shield interaction is really weird, it considers the minion health as the damage dealt to calculate the excess damage. In this case, the tail had 2 life, you dealt 26 damage, so 24 was the excess. For me, either the divine shield should only take 1 damage and the rest goes face or should take the full damage and none go face. Hard to evaluate which makes more sense, but the actual case doesn't make much sense.
