Transfòmatis is a physical and online space where we promote various projects based on artistic, personal and collective transformation!
As an incubator for new projects and start-ups, Transfòmatis actually has 5 main branches: Cultural Production (for artists and artisans), Editions (for publication, review and translation), Workshops (Live Literary Therapy, Non-Violent Communication), Education (language and culture courses, music courses, others) and Communication (Networks).
- Cultural Production: we currently produce the Haitian-Brazilian group Motif Mizik, the dancer Jazú Weda, the writer Neno Garbers, several artisans and sporadically we have worked with several other artists such as Claude Carre, Teatro Theduvin, Festivals such as the International Festival of Creole Literature.
- Editing, translation and proofreading in Haiti and other countries, to disseminate literature that is for transformation, and to publish some Haitian writers in other countries and vice versa
Workshop - Live Literary Therapy: where we offer several literary therapy sessions (in-person and online) on different topics that can be a challenge for all of us at some point in our lives: fear, anxiety, depression, grief, and many others.
- Workshop - Communication Without Violence (CWV) includes many communication techniques to develop more empathy, connection, being able to better hear what the other feels and better express what we feel, to have communication that allows us to move forward collectively, managing conflicts, intelligence emotional and much more. We offer these workshops for companies, organizations, collectives, social movements, groups responsible for security (agents, police, etc.), for couples, for parents, for teenagers and children in situations of violence, etc.
- Communication: on all social networks, to bring transformative themes to our young people.
- Education: In-person and online courses (language and culture: English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Creole and French; music: singing, piano, guitar, saxophone and many others).
