I feel like the color that counts is the most different than the normal color. As Shady said about the Deino: the shiny is green and black but because the original colors are blue and black he will count the shiny as green because that is the color that changed. Thus Spectrier is red because the usually purple mane has changed the most drastically (compared to the black body being black again)
